Fiebing's LDTQ76P004Z Dye for leather, black

Great product. Took only fraction of it to turn my nude tabi shoes into black. I coated 2-3 times and sealed them with Fiebing's Resolene. The bottle comes with one dauber.

Good product. Adheres very well on leather unlike the dylon leather dye.

Been using this product for doing a few different leatherwork projects over the years, always with vegetable tanned leather. Never had any issues at all, and always rub my work down with some boot polish and beeswax once the dye has dried. Only issue I've got with the product is the listing says it comes with the wool dauber, yet I've never received one with any of my orders.

Bought 2 of these to change the colour of a Tetrad leather footstool (large), from tan to black. The dye went further than expected, and one bottle was enough to do the job, brilliant with a little left over. I applied it with a very good quality 1 inch paint brush, and the absorbency was excellent. When dry I gave it another coat -excellent result, About one third of the second bottle remaining. Have to add that I did a lot of preparation in order to achieve the result that I am so pleased with.With a job like this the preparation is so important. Work in a well ventilated area, and wear protective gloves.

I have relied on Fiebings products for many years, they are top quality... The complimentary wool applicators were a nice touch, and the items were thoughtfully packaged...

I purchased this product to dye a pair of boots that were quite a light grey. You only need a small amount but best to tip into a container and make sure you have rubber gloves on as it dyes what it touches. Really good coverage and effective. Left over night to dry and wore the next morning. Would highly recommend. Only small criticism is the instructions are in tiny text and so very difficult to read. But it does what is says on the bottle, so no complaints.

Es buena para pintar piel color negro, pero es un negro no muy bonito, no va a quedar como si fueras a pintar algo de manera muy profesional, cumple pero no es lo mejor

Juste parfait ! Des ruines (sacs, chaussures …) sont revenus à l'état neuf. Reste à évaluer la longévité du traitement mais tout est si bien rentré dans le cuir que cela semble définitif. Pas de nuisance olfactive, séchage hyper rapide. Je regrette d'avoir tant attendu avant d'essayer.

Leder Entfetten Ist SEEEEHR Wichtig. Fett Behindert Die Alkoholbasierte Farbe Am Eindringen ! Der Alkohol Der Farbe Wird Vom Fett Neutralisiert, Die Farbpigmente Bleiben Auf Der Fettsperre Und Können Nicht Weiter Eindringen, Weil Das Transportmittel Alkohol Sich Mit Dem Fett Verbunden Hat. Bedeutet: Alkohol Löst Das Fett Wenn Genug Davon Da Ist. Zum Entfetten Also Reichlich Und Mehrmals Alkohol (Kein Schnaps Sondern Z.B. Methyl-Alkohol), Nitroverdünnung Geht Auch, Stinkt Aber Ziemlich...Ich Hab Bremsenreiniger Genommen, Geht Auch. Aber Generell Mit Lösemitteln: Vorsicht Bei Kunststoffen Und Verklebungen (Z:B: Beim Färben Von Schuhen). Wichtig Ist: Das Fett Muß Raus ! Also Reichlich Entfetten Und Das Verdünnte Fett Mit Küchenpapier Abwischen Bevor Das Lösemittel Wieder Verdunstet Und Das Fett Auf Dem Leder Draufbleibt... Dann Mit Dem Pinsel Oder Schwämmchen Mind. 2 Schichten Lederfarbe Auftragen. Nach Dem Trocknen Trocken Abwischen Und Bei Hellem Tageslicht Begutachten.. Wenns Fleckig Ist Ein 3.Mal Einfärben... Wenns Dann Noch Fleckig Ist , Ist Es Nicht Richtig Entfettet Worden. Weil Das Zeug Färbt Wirklich Wie Die Nacht. Also 2x Einfärben Ist Wirklich Tiefschwarz. Also Nochmal Entfetten 8( Dann Geht Der Großteil Der Farbe Allerdings Auch Wieder Flöten, Und Erneut Färben. Buntes Könnte Dadurch Leicht Scheckig Werden..Aber Bei Schwarz Ist Das Kein Problem. Wennsdannimmernochnichtschwarzist, Ist's Vielleicht Auch Kein Echtes Leder... 8( Wer Noch Nen Schumacher Oder Sattler Hat Kann Den Auch Vorher Fragen, Allerdings Färben Die Auch Leder, Und Wären Wohl Eher Über Euren Auftrag Erfreut Als Euch Beim Selbermachen Zu Helfen... 8/ Wenn's Geklappt Hat, Nicht Schuhcreme, Sondern Sattel-Öl (!!! - Gibt's Auch In Schwarz) Zum Rückfetten Des Leders Verwenden, Weil Das Öl Tief Eindringt Und Es Das Leder Wieder Geschmeidig Macht, Damit Es Nicht Reißt, Weil Es Durch Das Entfetten Versprödet Wurde. Gerne 2x Ölen... Sattel-Öl Macht Leder Dunkler, Seidig Glänzend, Trocknet Auch (Also Schmiert Nicht Alles Voll) Und Pflegt Besser... Schuhcreme Sitzt Nur Obendrauf... Jetzt Hassen Mich Die Schuhcreme Verkäufer..TML ;) Fertig !!! Bei Mir Hat Alles Geklappt ! D.H. Es Hält Auch Nach Langer Benutzungsdauer/Täglicher Beanspruchung (Schuhe) !!! Wichtigst Ist Gründliches Entfetten, Sonst Kann Die Farbe Nicht Tief Genug Einziehen, Sitzt Nur Auf Dem Rutschigen Fett Obendrauf Und Wischt Bei Benutzung Wieder Ab, Und Versaut Wohlmöglich Die Klamotten (Z.B.
