I found it would get really hot really quick, there’s no option to use this with an invisible stick so the eMate never stitches right, plus the image always seems to be a low quality. The image doesn’t save direct to the camera and is very easy to lose if doing long videos as it requires a transfer from the app which takes ages, onto the camera roll. Just not user friendly and poor quality. I've been using it with an iPod, which because it is so thin, feels a bit unwieldy but still works very effectively. Because of where the connection port is located, you do have to use it upside down - but after one or two goes taking pictures it, I found I was able to get used to that. Being able to scroll around on the screen and see a full 360 degrees is very impressive, and the image clarity is surprisingly good. It's a slightly distorted fish eye photo, but not to the extent that it makes it hard to view. I've used the Samsung Gear headset and that is my closest point of comparison when viewing 360 degree photos and being able to take my own is really good fun.
