Protect your board when not in use.
I just bought a new board and replaced all my old gear. It wasn’t cheap. For what I spent this was a no brainer. It fits my board with the bindings and there’s room for at least one, probably two more boards minus the bindings. The bag is sturdy, the zippers are solid and can be locked together like most luggage zippers, and it has enough padding to keep my board from getting scratched or banged up when I’m not using it, storing it for the summer, and traveling to a from the mountain in my car. It also prevents the board from scuffing or damaging the wall or closet it’s being stored in. The multiple handles, including backpack straps, make it super easy to carry. I wouldn’t recommend this particular model if I was going to check it on a flight but it’s great for car travel and at home storage. Absolutely worth the price to keep your board safe when not in use. Go for the wheeled model if you plan on traveling by air and worth the extra few bucks instead of buying the basic model. Take care of your gear and your gear will take of you.

No as expected
I took lightly padded to mean the whole bag was lightly padded which I want for an airplane. It is not the only padding is where it touches your back and the straps. The red is pretty thin not at all what I want when the cargo people are throwing it around. Also, you can return. It but it will cost $6. Which again is my fault for not paying better attention to the return policy, but thought you should know
