Q: would this work on the throttle body of an astra?

Yes, I’ve use break and carb cleaner and no problem, carb cleaner is less aggressive, and just as good, if you are cleaning anything that had oil on ie boost pipes, carb cleaner gets it off in a spray

Q: can this use as a engine cleaner?

Yes,but you may need as many as 3 bottles to clean the whole engine.

Q: would this work for a fuel injector too?

I'd think so, I use it to clean carbon from ICV's (idle control valves) so should be good on injectors.

Q: Can these be used on diesel engines?

Choke and carb cleaner is basically 90% alcohol depends which part you want to use it on.
