It's got a box dye in it, as going back my my natural colour and don't want roots visible. Its working well. So I've a box dye in my hair for those who want to know my hair type. I wash my hair three times a week and I've long hair, half way down my back. It's also very thick and sometimes a chore to brush.I like to wash my hair and leave it to dry unless I'm going anywhere special, i'll dry my hair and occasionally straighten it.Introducing a hair mask, why? Well, because my hair felt like it needed some nourishment. More than conditioner. It was feeling dry of late. (we are entering colder weather)Today I received this lovely pot of hair mask that just smelt delicious 😋 I put it directly on dry hair and struggled thinking, maybe after my hair care routine, I'll do it? Well I find it worked better on wet hair. I shampooed, then rinsed it out. I then put my hair mask in and left it 10 mins to soak in. It felt amazing!I rinsed and dried my hair with a towel. It feels so good, my brush glided through without trouble! It feels absolutely amazing too after hair drying it. I won't be going back to my old one.To start with, this hair mask has a delicate fragrance. Not overwhelming at all. I put it on the night before my hair wash is due and comb it through my very thick, coarse white hair. It's not the easiest of tasks because of the nature of my hair. It settles into my hair really well and I've never seen a residue on my pillow from leaving it on overnight.After washing the mask off and using my usual shampoo, my hair feel soft, manageable and almost like I've had a high end treatment at the hair salon. My hair is then easier to style with just a hairdryer.If it helps to know, I have very thick hair that is shoulder length and as I have been going grey for over 40 years, the white ones would now stand up at a 90 degree angle if I didn't use a mask to hair tame it down. Now after rewashing, I grab this beauty, smear on my wet haystack and waite a minute before running my fingers though. Since the lockdown and in being in desperate need of a trip I wanted to try and look after my hair more so thought I'd try a deep conditioning to tame my hair untill I can get it cut. Value for money is amazing as it's very thick and you don't need much and it smells amazing. Unfortunately I haven't seen much of a difference in how my hair feels. I tried it as a wash out (left it in for about 1/2 an hour) but it had the same effect as a normal conditioner. (I tried this 3 times) I then tried it as a leave in mask. This stopped most of the frizziness but my hair felt heavy and sticky and even thicker. (I applied only to the mid lenths and only a small amount)I will be trying another product.
