Setting Your Personal Combination Your new resettable combination padlock is preset at the factory to unlock at 0-0-0-0. To set your own combination,such as birthday,phone number,etc. Step 1 Leave dials at the opening combination 0-0-0-0 and pull out shackle. Step 2 Turn shackle 90°and press down as far as it will go. But before press down the shackle,please be aware that the key way on the shackle must align up to the notch on the lock body. Step 3 Holding shackle depressed and set the dials to your own combination. Step 4 Release shackle and return to regular position.Your new lock will now open to your personal combination.

I like it and it works great
I like it and it works great. The directions to set the combonation were on the amazon order, not included with the lock. The only downside is that the numbers are very small and I have to locate my cheater glasses to see the numbers

Directions are lacking
A cute lock that works well once you figure out the directions for yourself. There are some directions on the back of the package, but they put the price tag over it.I can open and close the lock, but can’t individualize the code. I requested a response from retsam, but never received one.

Didnt come with a combination code
Cute little lock however, it is completely useless as it has no combination code.

Knockoff padlock of the MASTERLOCK brand that Amazon.ca carries! Product came in damaged open pkg w/ mainly Chinese writing on it. Lock is scratched & MASTERLOCK logo missing on side of lock. Do not buy it!
