Lily’s Kitchen Smooth Paté, Complete nutrition, Cat Wet Food Multipack (32x85g) Tray for Adult Cats, Grain-Free Recipe With Natural Ingredients and With Freshly Prepared Meat & Offal

We had tried our rescue cat on some individual tins of this from the supermarket before buying as some reviews said that cats could be a little picky with this. I imagine it’s simply because it’s not like your standard icky low percentage meat wet cat food. And most cats are ingrained into this diet, so it’s something very different. Firstly packaging- it’s a small square cardboard box with the boxes of 8 tins packed inside. Very easy to store and keeps everything together. Another major draw for us is that Lily’s kitchen tins and packaging are completely recyclable. Unlike all the millions of cat food pouches other companies still use. The cat food itself is fab. Yes as other people have mentioned it smells a little stronger than other cat foods but I honestly believe it’s bevause it’s full of the good stuff, and much less of the bad. Our cat has tried all the varieties now and loves the lot but I would say hunters hotpot disappears the fastest! The texture of the meals is much nicer than other brands. The price of these is fantastic compared to per portion in the supermarket. Yes it’s more expensive than your standard brands but what you’re getting is 65% real meat and a lot of goodness. And I have to say we’ve noticed the difference, her coat is glossy and soft and she seems much more interested in her food. And I do believe what they say - pay more for food and less for vets bills. All in all I 100% back Lily’s kitchen, not just for their good cat food ingredients but also for their values - recyclable packaging etc. And I know our cat backs them too :) but then she’s totally lead by her stomach!

After a month or so of getting my cat and feeding her a diet of whiskas or Felix wet food (before knowing the issues with them!!) I switched to this. We're on day 2 of feeding this and the difference in my cat is incredible already. Now this might not be down to this specifically as I've done a few new things (noted next) but I think it definitely contributed if it's not the entire cause. I swapped the bad food for one packet of Lily's kitchen in the evening, 1 sachet of HiLife it's only natural in the morning and added 1 pump of wild salmon oil (bought both other things from Amazon too) to each meal, with the same dry food for grazing. The difference? A now ridiculously soft and healthy coat, far more energy and desire to play, eating less but more frequently so it obviously fills her up quickly rather than the whiskas/felix which she ate so quickly and cried for more (these whiskas/Felix pouches had 4% meat content vs the now 60+%.. I think it's fair to see why it wasn't filling her..) and she just seems a lot healthier and happier. I'm so pleased with the difference I've seen in her due to the dietary changes and I believe Lil's kitchen plays a massive part (along with HiLife and the salmon oil). Really recommend, the difference is incredible and really fast working!

This is good quality paté cat food. It smells like real meat, unlike the cheaper wet food brands that just smell like 'cat food', which I can't stand. After just a week or so feeding one to my cat every day alongside the LK dry food, her coat is so much smoother and shinier! It is quite expensive so I like to alternate every few weeks between these and other wet foods but this makes a noticeable difference. I liked the variety option so that I could change up my cat's meals every few days and try the different flavours out. My cat loves the hunter's hotpot and lamb casserole flavours, she finishes them off in one go. She is not so keen on the chicken and will only nibble on it before leaving about 3/4 of the portion sitting, and I end up having to throw it away. I've now started halving the portions. The poultry pie gives my cat terrible bowel movements but I've recently discovered that this may be an intolerance of sorts to turkey. It also has a very different consistency to the lamb and hotpot flavours - it is much more of a smooth paté whereas lamb and hotpot have more of a chunky quality to them.

Great delivery, looks good, my cats have tried it once, struggled to eat all of it, as there is so much in one tin, but at least they didn’t turn their nose up, pleased with product & quality !!

This food is great, one of the only foods that is 100% meat with no grain or rice. My cat loves it so much she flips her bowl over looking for more. At £22 a month it’s great value too. I would recommend.

Not worth the money as my cat would not eat it, so wasted money purchasing it.

Da mein sich Kater von dem ganzen Supermarktgelumpe stetig vermehrt übergeben hat, musste also das Futter umgestellt werden. Habe viel probiert, bin zuletzt bei diesem hängen geblieben, dank Spar-Abo auch zu einem akzeptablen Preis. Natürlich ist es nicht super easy, eine Katze die nur zucker- und getreidehaltiges Futter gewohnt ist (siehe 0815 Futter aus dem Supermarkt) plötzlich von heut auf morgen an gesundes Futter zu gewöhnen. (Ein Mensch der nur Fast Food isst, möchte auch nicht plötzlich nur noch Salat essen ;)) daher Geduld! Die negativen Bewertungen sind daher meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Mein Kater liebt es mittlerweile und frisst nichts anderes mehr, verträgt es auch sehr gut. 😊

My cat likes the food and it seems decent, but there are these very hard pieces that I keep finding, like bone or stone. Idk if this is normal but it does not look edible. I will not repurchase because of this.
