Highly recomend this set!
Well made piece of kit. Sounds fantastic and extremly responsive. The stool was solid and not flimsy like some ive had previously. The headphones provided are ok but i recomend looking for some better quality ones in the long run. But what good value for money with such a profesional setup.

Great value for money - for experienced practising and beginners alike.
Me:Amateur drummer in small local bands ~8 years (varieties of rock). I bought this to practise in my terraced house as any acoustic (i.e. non-electric) drum kit is way too loud in most streets, unless you have extremely tolerant neighbours.Build Quality:I'm quite impressed with how sturdy everything is. Very easy to put together, didn't even need the manual. Although, I do have drum experience so terms like "tom-tom, kick pedal, hi-hat" mean something to me - if you are an oblivious parent or absolute beginner then I'm sure the accompanying manual is fairly explanatory.Sound:Again, I was impressed by the dynamics this relatively cheap electric drum kit is capable of. I was expecting the drum to produce the some volume sound no matter how hard you hit it but it actually has a great range of volumes (I'm going to say around 10) based on how hard you hit a drum i.e. if you hit a pad really softly you get a quiet sound, hit it hard and you get loud one.The actual range of sounds is quite good iirc there is 120 different sounds which are quite easy to program (again, I worked this out on my own based on previous experience with similar gadgets, but if you're not confident then its all in the manual). So as soon as I got the kit I changed the tone of toms, snare and kick. You can also completely change a drums "default" function e.g. I have set my 2nd tom-tom to actually be my ride cymbal - there's nothing stopping you doing this and I would encourage you to do so for the full experience.I have only ever plugged mine in through headphones and the volume goes more than loud enough. Using a male-to-male 3.5mm jack lead you can also plug your MP3 in to play along quietly to yourself. To go into an amplifier you will need 3.5mm to 6.35mm jack lead (or adaptor). For learners/beginners:This is a great reasonably priced kit for people who are looking to get into drums and parents who do not want to go deaf and have plaster fall off their walls. Its a fair amount smaller than most acoustic kits, so bear that in mind. I have a distinct worry that, if you learnt on this kit for a year and then played on a full size kit you would struggle to get acclimatized. If anyone reading this IS a learner then a little personally recommendation would be to try and get exposure to as many drumktis as you can while you learn so you learn how to actually play THE DRUMS as opposed to YOUR drums. Also, this kit comes with a pair of drum sticks THROW THEM AWAY THEY ARE AWFUL. They're super thick and poorly weighted. Go to the store and look for drum sticks sized "5A" - this is the standard size and, unless you know what you want, what most people will benefit learning with. The only bad thing:For the price I paid (£180 in a sale) I could not really be happier. It is absolutely worth the money. The only problem I have noticed is something akin to "ghosting" on a keyboard - that is when you hit a number of keys at the same time and they don't all register. I have noticed when using kick, snare and a cymbal in a rhythm, especially a faster one, the cymbal beats will get missed around 10% of the time which is super annoying, but at how good everything else is I don't really mind.

faulty parts
Drums arrived promptly, took 45 minutes to set up, looked great and worked fine for first half an hour, than low Tom stopped working normally, it will produce a very meek sound intermittently. Asked for a replacement thinking this might be a faulty piece, second set arrived within two days of reporting, packed away the faulty set and set up the new kit, took me an hour.Low Tom worked for five minutes and........you guessed it. Stopped working again, now I have two faulty sets to be returned. What a pain.

Great value for money... great starter kit
Great piece of kit... easy to assemble and responsive. Good solid quality and the fact the base is a separate unit is a big plus. Been used and abused for a few weeks and proving it's worth

Pretty good kit
Pretty good kit, a few issues though one is that you have to hit the high hat a bit harder if your hitting the snare at the same time one won't register if you don't.The other is the fittings come loose and I'm constantly re tightening the frame. For the price though I am happy

Hoo HA!
Great digital drum kit. Arrived in less than a week from supplier to courier and on to Zambia. Took an hour to assemble for a man with two left hands. Went straight into a lesson for my 8 and 10 year old boys and their instructor a young dude who put himself tthrough music college in New Orleans playing blues percussion on Bourbon Street. Got the thumbs up from him too. A month in and it has seen three more lessons and quite a few hours of practice and nothing has loosened, fallen off or broken. Very good value, very sturdy build, pretty good sound. Headphone socket works a charm since the kids' music room is next to my office. Li LI LIKE it a LOT.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of this electric drum
I am thoroughly disappointed with the quality of this electric drum. The instructions were extremely vague, there are too many wires surrounding the kit and the place to plug the kick plug cannot be found

digital drum kit
I am a 53 year old woman going through her second childhood lol. had a drum kit years ago but they take up so much space so having a go on a friend of mines digital kit a few weeks ago, I thought wow I gotta have myself one of those! I set it up myself (im not usually that good at that sort of thing) so that will show you how easy it is to set up. the sound is fab and a must for the budding drummer, a lot of wonderful sounds from such a beautiful kit and at the price it cost a bargain
