Are they usda approved?

According to other answered questions, the almonds are grown in either CA, USA (probably USDA approved) or Australia (don’t know if USDA would have jurisdiction here). The current Secretary of Agriculture is a Perdue so the USDA cannot be trusted to regulate appropriately.

Hey, are these the bitter ones ?

No, these are normal almonds. I doubt anyone would sell the bitter ones in such amounts.

Given this is a 1 kilo pack, how far ahead of the purchase date is the Best Before date on these almonds?

I put some in a jam jar for immediate use and the rest I put in the freezer - they keep very well.
