Two for One value added.
I'm giving 2 for 1 value here, reviewing the 732000 2 in 1 Cordless Vacuum and the Morphy Richards 'Never loses suction' compact bagless cylinder vacuum. I have both and love both and NO, I don't work for Morphy Richards. I have had the cylinder vacuum for a couple of years and have no complaints with its performance at all - it has the best suction of any cleaner I have ever had. Its cleaning is magic. However the effort of dragging it out and negotiating the cord around furniture and getting it stuck under doors was beginning to get me down. I flirted with the idea of the more expensive cordless vacs including Dyson and Gtech but after reading the reviews, I decided on the Morphy Richards 2 in 1. What attracted me to this was the ability to switch to a hand-held cleaner for chairs, car etc. I was not disappointed. The suction is good, the machine is highly manoeuvrable and lightweight. Pushing it across the floor does not take any more effort than pushing the hose on my cylinder cleaner and I am not trying to drag the main part of the machine along behind me at the same time. Fabulous! Is it as good as the cylinder? Well, no. Not for carpet. For carpet I have never had a better cleaner than the Never loses Suction Cylinder. So once a week I get the cylinder out and do my one and only carpet - the other floors in my small bungalow are all laminate or tile. The rest of the time the cordless is fine. It picks up crumbs and dust from the carpet okay. Not a deep clean but respectable. And I am much more likely to move furniture in the other rooms while pushing the cordless than I was while trying to cope with the cord, so everything is cleaner than before. The time to re-charge the battery is fine. It does not need to be fully charged to work and I keep it topped up by plugging it in after each use and switching off when the battery light goes green. I have only once had the battery go flat while in use and that was my fault for forgetting to charge for a couple of days. It converts to a hand-held cleaner at the touch of a button and then goes back together again in one second flat with a reassuring click. Easier than taking the head off the cylinder hose and attaching the duster head! Brilliant. My quality of life has improved. I reckon I now have the best of both worlds.

Very pleased indeed
I tend to only write reviews on things that impress me, wax lyrical about the good points and try to highlight anything needing improving. I'll continue in the same vein with the review of the Supervac, something which has impressed me a lot in the few weeks that I've had it.I live in a two bedroom flat with hard floors in all rooms except the bedrooms, with new, fairly thick carpets. I was totally convinced I needed a Dyson and came very close on several occasions when there were offers, but just couldn't bring myself to spend the money. When I saw this for less than £100 I read some reviews and took what I thought would turn out to be a punt, however ever since unboxing it, I've been extremely impressed with its practicality and performance. It fits perfectly in my storage cupboard (and there is not a lot of space in there with a washing machine, ironing board, clothes horse and other cleaning stuff!) It's very compact but doesn't feel at all flimsy and I think it's actually pretty well made. The handle folds down to save even more space. It charges in about three to four hours and lasts for about 15-20 minutes. This is ample for me to do a kitchen, living room, hallway and two bedrooms, as well detaching the handheld module and doing the sofa etc.The suction is surprisingly powerful. It picks up virtually everything it goes over first time. If there is some fluff deep in the carpets, you'll probably have to pick it out and go back over it to get it up, but that's the case with most hoovers. I was worried it would't cope with the carpets but I've had no problem whatsoever so far. The hard floors pose no problem either and it makes light work of them. It's very light and manoeuvres around the place well due to having a swivel head, so the hoovering is a simple chore that gets done pretty quickly. The only thing I would say even remotely negative about it is that you do have to empty it every time you use it. The dust container isn't the biggest and is fairly full after going over the whole flat once. It's very easy to empty though, and I would suggest taking apart the filter (also very easy) and rinsing after every use as the instructions suggest.I haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity, but it comes with a two year guarantee so is probably going to last for some time, and if you keep on top of cleaning the filter, I'm sure the suction power will stay strong.Overall, this is one of my best buys in a while. Great value, easy to use and very functional. Couldn't ask for more! Would strong recommend in a flat or smaller home.
