Vivian's bridal womens Petticoat

It's perfect, very fluffy, no funny smell, does run a little small. I wear a 12/14 and it barely fit. Waist is electric with velcro closure and a drawstring, so even if the velcro doesn't close, you can still use the string. Great value, better quality than I expected.

5’3” 135 lbs. Waist 28”I purchased this slip to wear with my wedding dress. I read the reviews and noted that the medium is made for a size 30 waist. I was still able to get a snug fit by overlapping the Velcro and tying the waist. I secured the slip about an inch higher than my natural waist and it was the perfect length for me with heels on. The volume this gives my ball gown dress is perfect! I’m so glad a took a chance and bought this slip. It’s better than the slip the bridal shop tried to sell me with my dress and it’s a fraction of the price!

I am 5'7" (my height is all leg, though ( and have a 32" waist. The band isn't too snug at all, but the skirt is a little awkwardly short (my skirt just goes out and then down, but careful skirt placement eliminates it). It gives just the right amount of volume, but the lining is much shorter than the fabric used for volume, so my shins get really itchy if I forgo tights. However, it gives an overall voluminous effect and I will continue to wear it (yes I wear a voluminous skirt in an everyday setting, because I watch too many historical dramas: Reign anyone?). The price is fair for what it is, and it does deliver on its promises. (Excuse my mirror, I'm getting a new one soon so this one is kinda nasty)

It was a tad tight, but it fullfed out my ball gown wedding dress to Cinderella level and it was super light. My ONLY issue was that it smelled like a factory/fishy when i got it and no matter what i did i could NOT get the smell out! Only thing we didnt try was dry cleaning so maybe thats the trick... And the innermost layer of material was a little itchy/poky, but i guess to get it to poof out ths material must be sturdy enough. I would probably recommend wearin a smoother feeling slip underneath as well so your legs dont bother you from it.

So happy we went with this! It works perfect; it adds just the right amount of poof to my prom dress without being overbearing. The waistband seems to be a bit small but if you have a small waist I'd say there's nothing wrong with this! (If you are worried about it I'm sure they'd accommodate). The lighter photo is a dress of mine with out it and the other is with it, keep in mind that the material of my dress is heavy.

The product is as described and I anticipate that it will work well under my dress. Unfortunately, when I received this item it had 2 major flaws: First, there was 2 brown stains about the size of a quarter on the outer layer. I'm not sure what it was, but I washed the petticoat and put stain remover on them and was able to get them out with some scrubbing. Second, THIS SMELLED ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. I cannot express the terrible smell coming off of this when I took it out of the package. I expect a little bit of an off smell from something new that has been packaged, but this smell was so terrible it stunk up my entire apartment, and my roommates actually thought something died in our room when they returned. I have now washed it twice and the smell is still extremely overpowering. There is no way I can wear this under my costume until the smell is gone, because I perform as a princess and the horrid smell would send little kids running. Hopefully after a third or fourth wash it will not smell as bad.

This petticoat fits perfectly!It is made with high quality material and workmanship. The elastic waist band is comfortable and easily adjusts to your waist. There is added support with velcro and a drawstring to secure it stays in place and doesn't slip/slide off. I would buy this 100 times over!

It looked nothing like the picture. Wasn't full at all. There was 4 layers, but the picture makes it look like much more than that. In the description it has different size options but when I ordered it didn't give any options. I'm highly disappointed. I'm going g to try to Straighten it out and see if it does anything for my dress but since the hard layer on the outside has very little support with layering underneath I highly doubt it will hold up to the test. I was better off just going to the bridal store and getting one.....
