Really helps out if you've got a Floyd
I know some people scoff at this tool for the price and point to wood blocks and other ways you can steady a Floyd, but this is the only option I'm aware of that lets you flip the entire guitar over and lay it down all while you've got the strings removed.I think it's a fair price for what you get and it does the job without any compromises.

Very useful tool
Saw Phillip McKnight review this on his YouTube channel (Know Your Gear) and decided to try it out. Super helpful tool for working on my guitars with floating tremolos (especially the ones with Vega-trems). Does exactly what it says it does, and does it well. String changes are super easy now.

Nice tool to have for changing gauge/tuning on a Floyd
I was getting frustrated trying to set up my Ibanez with a heavier string gauge at a lower tuning and decided to order some products to help make this whole ordeal easier on myself. One of those items was the Tremolo Buddy. This is literally one of the best purchases I've ever made as a multiple-guitar owner with multiple floating bridges. It simplified the process once I found a good starter position with the Tremolo Buddy. I would totally recommend.

Huge time saver and works safely!!!
Saw this on Phil McKnights KYG website and I own two Floyd Rose equipped guitars so why not give it a try? Keeping a Floyd Rose levitating bridge stable can be challenging. I don't like using block jams, which are a common choice but don't always work 100%. This made much more sense and you have the ability to adjust if necessary, something you can't do with a fixed size block.Used it to change the strings on my (new to me) Schecter SVSS Green Reign. This was my first ever Floyd Rose string change so it took me a bit to figure it out on my own, rear body spring tension, knife edge level, etc. Got it finished finally and now all new strings! Because it was shipped to me used, the previous owner had the block laid down into the body so I had to spend more time than normal to get everything correct. Next string change will be much faster now AND easier too! Definitely recommend if you have a Floyd Rose trem!!!!! This IS a lifesaver and for what a luthier charges you for a string change on a Floyd Rose? I'm already ahead of the game by about $15 on one string change!
