Vanity Fair Women's Anti-Static Nylon Half Slip for Under Dresses, Available up to size 3XL

I weigh 225 and most of my weight is in my rear and thighs so I got the 3X. It fit perfect around the waist and had ample room for hip and thighs without being snug. I hate things that are binding but this slip was quite roomy.

Perfect for under lighter colored dresses. Stretchy and light weight. Able to pull up higher for short dresses and lower for longer.

I wear a slip almost everyday and have at least 40 half slips - most Vanity Fair. Some are so old now and needed replacing. The elastic eventually starts to give-out, which is not unexpected. Again, my slips see a lot of daily use but have lasted for years ( at least a decade.)These slips were on-offer at a great price so I chose the 28” slips in multiples of black, beige, and white.The sizing guide was accurate and the slips fit comfortably. They are sewn well. I didn't measure the accuracy of the length, since most of my dresses are midi or longer.The one little problem is that the fabric isn’t the same as it used to be - not nearly as “slinky” or as drapey-smooth as my older VF slips. The older slips were “silkier.” The fabric of the new slips is stiffer, slightly rougher. In my picture the new slip is on the left and my older VF slip is on the right. In person, maybe not in the picture, I can see a subtle difference in the “weave” or texture of the fabric. Not as quite as cling-free as the older VF slips I have, especially noticeable if my hosiery is textured. I’ll keep the new slips, since they were a good price and, even with the stiffer (lesser quality?) fabric, they’ll work fine for my daily wear.

Great slip but I picked one that was too long. My bad. Got a refund quickly and painlessly.

Runs small in the waist. I usually wear a small or medium, ordered a medium based on the "runs small" advice of other reviews, but it was still too small! Size large was sold out at the time, so I cannot say whether it would have worked, but I would imagine it would have been just right. For reference, I'm 5'1" and 135 lbs.

AWESOME slip!!! These are getting hard to find. It’s made of the nice slick material that will not bind to the dress it’s under. Perfect for what I needed. Now just need another one in another color.
