I bought this because my old shredder broke down. I chose a different shredder with a finer cut. The nice thing is the collection drawer just pulls out. On my other models it was a case of removing the whole shredder head to empty the bin. These heads are quite heavy and sometimes awkward to put back. The drawer on this is quite large and is so easy to remove. The best thing is it’s on wheels and really easy to move about. I would think you could leave the wheels off if needed especially to put it on a stand or table. It’s effective at shredding and doesn’t have to be emptied every five minutes. I cannot comment on the noise but these machines are doing a task that requires heavy moving blades so you should expect sound. It’s not an overpowering or unpleasant noise. It’s a nice size for a home shredder and a decent price considering its size and quality. I would recommend it.

Had the shredder for one week, after my existing one's motor ceased working. As would bevexpected from a Which? "Best Buy", it is working well. Quieter than I was lead to believe.

It’s not to large so doesn’t take up too much space and is ideal for home use for shredding those personal details. The bin is not as sturdy as our old one which was a lot thicker but ok. The price was ok and a speedy delivery.

Great shredder, I've attempted to shed paper with much cheaper and poor quality shredders and they burn out soo easily yet this one just keeps going eating all the paper/card you feed it.After you've given it 3x the amount you probably should have yes it might be a bit hot, but it's just keeps chewing away, It runs for a very long time before finally you might decide to let it cool down, being the beast that it is and how much you begin to love how well it works, you'll likely take the precautionary measure to let it rest as I did the first time it chewed up boxes of paper and you'll probably let it cool down while you grab a brew. For the amount of time it saves and how well the resulting shredded paper comes out with the lack of concern of it getting stuck in it's teeth I would say it is value for money, and wouldn't hesitate to buy again if i needed to.

The box came a bit damaged but there was another undamaged box inside the damaged one so the shredder was perfectly fine; that's more of an issue with Amazon delivery. The shredder was easy to fit (just had to pop the 4 wheels in). It's a fair size and can fit 60-100 pages shredded before you need to empty it. I was a little disappointed when i saw one small shredded piece of paper inside the bin as this means I was sent a shredder which had already been used by someone else and returned. However, everything is working fine, no damage, no issues at all so I've kept it. (we have all returned stuff before which would be passed to other!). The microshredding is great and gives you that extra peace of mind. The wheels means it's easy to manoeuvre and stow away, and you can remove the wheels if you want to place it on a table. It shreds cards as described, and I also tried to keep it running for longer than 3 min and I had no issues. I also tried more than 8 papers and it still worked fine (although I would advise to follow the given instructions). Overall, it does exactly what it says and I'm very happy!

Terrible. Struggles with more than 1 sheet at a time. Gets blocked very easily, doesn’t sense when it’s full and overheats quickly.I’d send it back if I could be bothered.Once I’ve cleared my backlog it will be adequate for the odd but that needs shredding, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone that has a lot of shredding.
