The Wet Brush Detangling Hair Brush, Punchy Pink

The Wet Brush Detangling Hair Brush is one excellent brush which makes short work of tangled and knotted hair especially when wet after washing. I also find the actual brush very handy when I am blow drying my hair as it grips my hair to allow me to straighten it while drying with a hair dryer. The brush is also very comfortable to use and I am very pleased when brushing my little girls very curly hair. Previous to owning the wet brush it was always a fight and an argument to brush her hair either after washing or simply first thing in the morning. Now it is a simple case of showing her the wet brush and she is happy and content for me to brush her hair, I still have to brush it gently which is fine as now I can take each knot out easily and free from pain as the bristles are designed to simply glide through even a thick head of hair. I love this brush as the design and actual body of the brush is first class, the main body of the brush is made from a wood which is a pleasure to use as it sits in my hand comfortably plus I am able to grip it easily and without any discomfort. One main reason I do love this brush is in the past when I brushed my hair I would always have to clean the brush as my hair would end up clogging it up, now when I use this I would be lucky to see half a dozen of my crowning glory caught around the bristles as when I use this hair it simply brushes my hair leaving it smooth and tidy without any ripping of my hair shaft or pulling any hair out of my scalp. I am happy to recommend any brush from this great range but for me, this one is one of the best from the range as it will make short work of even the thickest heads of hair without any pain or ripping out of hair.

I have to leave a review for this. For years, my (long, thick, wavy) hair has been falling out - every time I brush it I had clumps of hair in the brush (recently tangle teezer) and all over the floor I’d have to clean up. I have just used the Wetbrush on my dry hair and am AMAZED. 1 single hair left in the hair brush and 1 on the floor. I looked really hard to see if there were more on the floor bcos this is a game changer. I feel like the whole time my hair hasn’t been coming out of my scalp like I believed, but been breaking from using the wrong brush, which explains the frizzy breakage ends all down the lengths. I’m stepping up my hair game. I’m keeping this. I’ve ordered the shower version of this which hangs and has spaces to keep it clean to use in the shower for conditioner. I’m researching boar hair brush, I’ve got the opaplex rebonding no. 3 product to rebound the breaks and splits and by the end of the month I should have amazing looking hair. Can’t wait. This has given me so much hope ! Ps. With the tangle teezer, I would hear ripping sounds. I thought it was just the brush design. No sounds at all brushing my hair now. Feels a whole lot better. 👍 delighted.

I was looking for a hair brush that I could use on my wet hair after washing. I have thick, just below shoulder length hair, and when it's wet (even after conditioning) my usual hairbrush rips through the tangles and not only is it painful but I worry that it's damaging my hair. I thought I'd give this a go! It definitely is kinder on my hair but it can take a while to get through the tangles as it sort of glides over them rather than through them. Overall it's a good brush though and I do use this over my old one!

I had a good look around before buying this hair brush. I am happy to invest good money but not a ridiculous amount and there are some very expensive hair brushes out there. I just wanted a no fuss brush to detangle may hair without pulling on it. Why is it so hard to find? Well look no further....this is the one! I didn't expect much from it but I have to say I was really impressed after the first use. I have long fine hair and have always used wide combs to detangle it. Even though my hair is fine, it is a long process. What a difference. This brush detangles in no time at all! and... best of all - no hair pulling - my hair stays where it should... on my head. AMAZING. This is a good quality brush and very nicely priced. I would highly recommend it.

...and I am over the half century so that's a lot of brushes and combs. If you have had loads of waste of money brush buying disasters like me and are sceptical like I was about about so many good reviews for this one: THE WET BRUSH-PRO, then read on. It smooths out my tangles like a hot knife through butter without dragging half my hair from its roots. the bristles do not dig into my head. it feels like someone is massaging my scalp not scalping it. the handle is comfortable and it looks great in the colour pink. now the final test will be if the black bristle base remains firmly in place in the pink surround. If there is no further comment from me after today 14 June 2017 just assume that it has! Update April 2018 - remains firm in the base after much use and frequent cleaning. Very happy to recommend.
