Technoline WS8007 Extra Large Black Digital Weather Clock

Super looking slim, contemporary, free standing or wall clock.. Very happy with this large LCD clock, light weight and excellent quality. Easy to hang on a wall. Pale gold, bold display on black background, suitable for daylight or lit room, easily viewed at 90 degree angle. This clock is set for German time and will read 1 hour ahead, so set it manually, and keep pressing the mode switch until it reads 0, set this to read -1 (minus 1) for UK time, otherwise, it will keep reverting to one hour ahead. Pale gold on black looks stylish! The clock is pricey but worth it, I couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else on the internet!

I hardly ever write reviews, let alone bad ones but I have decided this clock has worked very hard to deserve one. Without much exaggeration is is the biggest piece of carp I have ever bought. Firstly you can hardly see what is on the screen, due to poor brightness, which you can’t adjust. Then once we changed the settlings from German to English, every few days the hour display would jump forward one hour. We would change it back to the UK time and a couple of days later it would jump forward again. The clock is now safely resting on top of our bomb fire, where it belongs, waiting for us to light a match. Due to the corona virus outbreak I don’t really want to risk going to the post office to post it back, and waste any more time on this price of rubbish. Please do not buy!

Excellent description and product

I have at last set clock and it has not changed for a few days now.The problem was that the clock will automatically scan at 3am every day and will default back to German time.I had to set the clock 2 hours in front manually plus make sure you select -1Then you must do a manual scan by pressing the minus button and holding for a few seconds for it to begin and it should then show the right time it took me a while to sort it but it's working fab now...

Once you work out to set it took British time it's a fab clock.

Excellent clock - a facility to power it from the mains would be nice.

This product is a very expensive failure - I have set it to ENG for English time - it the did a wireless link and set itself 1 hour in advance. So I corrected it manually, Next morning it had re adjusted itself up 1 hr. Every morning it is the same, I have to adjust the useless thing back an hour. I asked Questions on Amazon and got told there was a GMT setting, Not in the manual and not on any of the settings, also got told it should adjust automatically, it does but incorrectly .

initially very impressed by product and helpful backroom staff, the main problem is not so much any viewing angle to see numbers clearly but the lack of any numbers in a pitch black room, its brilliant in a well lite room for perhaps 14 hours but as the light fads so does visibility of the numbers, it reminds me of the old wrist watches that at night you needed to push a button for a backlight to be able to see the time, love the large numbers and display in a well lite room it seems my expectations of this product were at fault , but i would not send it back even if i could its quirkyness has a certain charm.
