Fantastic
Bought this to drill holes through some reclaimed sleepers so that I could connect them together with rebar. Took 2 or 3 attempts for each hole but succeeded gratefully. Bits seem no worse for wear after drilling 2 and 3 holes through 12 sleepers. Worth every penny to get to get my new pond walls up...

Good value.
The tip of the leading screw blunted on first contact with nail embedded in joist, needed a lot more pressure to drill further holes.

Drilling 125mm deep hole in door
Only went 70mm deep when drill bit became dull and ceased to function. I'm not a joiner so it may be that my lack of skill was a contributory factor?

Don’t bother with this one
I am trying to drill into oak to insert oak pegs in for joining and this doesn’t cut it. I’m using a beefy Boch corded SDS drill and this drill bit bites into the oak then jams. Very disappointed after reading the reviews. This might be fine for softwood but for hardwood like oak I’ve got a better chance using a butter knife and that’s saying something. Oh well back to hunting for a better auger.

Just what was needed to save my back and legs.
As described, I have been using it on an old stump to break it up, and it has been doing the job. A great buy that I easily recommend. Some minor flexing when I lean on the drill too much and remember to check the tip is clear when repositioning, obviously, if it is clogged it will not cut.
