1 cap to replace, 1 as spare, 2 more as backup...
I recently lost a 58mm lens cap, while at a festival for the weekend. Cursing, I nursed the lens through the rest of the weekend, and looked for a replacement when I got back online. The bundle of 4 lens caps was a surprise idea, but is practical (and inexpensive): I now have the replacement on the lens, and a spare in the camera bag. While I was at it, I bought 4 of the 67mm for my longer lens, and keep 1 of each in the bag.Now if I lose one, I have the replacement ready and to hand... in the right place!

Outstanding value and quality
These lens caps certainly seem more secure than the Canon originals; and substantially cheaper.I find I lose the originals quite often. They seem to knock off easily and I don't always notice them fall. These seem to lock in more securely and the secure line makes sure they won't fall to the ground.I would probably remove the secure line from the lens in the studio as I wouldn't want the cap dangling; but in the field it will be a must whilst walking.Make sure you are sure when putting the adhesive pad on the cap. Secure it certainly is. I couldn't remove it.Obviously your lenses will not stand up on the cap end for storage.

I dropped one of my lens caps and so went to Amazon to buy another Canon-branded one, but then I saw these were cheaper than even one of the Canon ones and had good reviews so I went for it - I thought it was probably good to have spares for the next time that I lose one! Very pleased with this purchase - the style of the cap suits me better than the Canon ones and they feel more secure (my Canon one used to fall off of its own accord from time to time).

does what it's meant to do effective
I needed to quickly find a replacement lens cap after I fell whilst carrying the camera and the maker's one broke. I was dubious as this was not Nikon, a different design and so inexpensive. The cap fitted with ease and the design is less likely to catch on clothing etc whilst you're moving and become unclipped as the Nikon one did. It is perhaps not so speedy to remove and replace without paying attention and the retaining cord was not so robust and has come undone once or twice. I would not hesitate in recommending these caps at all an excellent purchase.

Good product, with too much packaging
These lens caps do a great job of what they're made for, capping lenses for dslr cameras. The build quality is good, although the spring mechanism is nowhere near as nise to use as a name brand option, but that is to be expected for the price. The one thing I'm upset about with this purchase is the amount of packaging - the whole product comes in a cardboard amazon box which is fine, then in a resealable plastic bag which is also fine, then inside this strong plastic bag each lens cap (4 total) is packaged separately in a thin single use plastic bag, as well as another 4 of these plastic bags for the cap keepers all also packaged individually in single use plastic bags. the amount of waste plastic in this product is appalling and unnecessary in the modern day when we are trying to cut down on plastic use

very good for the price
I have a number of lenses which I've attached adapters and filters to and they are all currently 58mm in size so having spare 58mm lens caps help a lot. I think the extra little strap and sticky mount is really good. I wrap the strap around the lens and stick the mounting to the lens so that if it does come off, it doesn't go getting lost. I had never thought about having the lens cap like that. However, I don't use it because when I do take the lens cap off, I don't want it just hanging there. I'd rather put it in a safe place.

Excellent value
Snap-on covers can be a pain. I've tried using cords and tethers but you then end up with the cap dangling and getting in the way. This item gives you that option if you wish but it's also a way to have some spare caps available if you loose one that is untethered. Quality is very good and the caps work perfectly. I am now able to keep one on the camera and a spare in the case for any occasion when I misplace the one I put in my pocket or put down or just can't remember where it went. The cost for the pack of caps is exceptionally good and - as I said - if you still do want a tether, there's that option too.I've bought from this seller before and have found them to be both excellent and caring. Highly recommended.

Simple, good value, work well
These lens caps and attachment sticker and bands are excellent value-for-money and they work well replacing an original lens cap lost in a ravine. (A bit of a story but life and limb are not worth a lens cap!) Absolutely nothing to fault them so five stars for me. Will revisit if needs be but I suspect that these will last until lost. Hopefully not down a ravine. :-)
