Firstly, I thought I was getting a pink eye mask, but this minty green turned up. Not a problem at all, I'm guessing it's random allocation, so if the colour is important to you its something to be aware of.The velour side is soft on your skin, and the velcro adjustable strap makes the mask sit comfortably on the face. (Apart from the fact its made me look like a giant blue bottle!) So far, I've used it chilled, giving it the 30 minutes in the freezer, that is recommended. Next time I would likely use the fridge, or give it a little less time in the freezer, as it became almost painfully cold. Once it was at a better temperature I placed it on my eyes, and wow! The cold is so soothing, especially on tired eyes. I imagine it would help hayfever sufferers as well.I'm keen to try it warm, to help with relaxation and sleep. I'm also wondering if there's any way to use it in conjunction with some lavender fragrance......So far, it's great. If anything goes wrong I'll amend this review, but for a fiver, I'd go for it!

Lovely eye mask, I did order pink, and blue arrived instead.... But its a lovley colour blue so I don't mind. I've attach an images cause let's face it, we all love a little nose.The fabric is lovley and soft on my eyes, and the mask stays cold for about an hour or so once its out of the fridge. It's a adjustable velcro strap at the back and can sometimes catch strands of your hair if you fall asleep in it.It doesn't fully block the light out... But it does help dim it.I use this mask mostly to reduce the pain of migraines.I have been using this mask for about 2 years now .... Still works the same as though it was brand new, and the mask gets used roughly twice a week if not more

I have used these cold and they provide great relief. I have dry eye occasionally and the mask helped with the discomfort. Comfortable to wear and east to clean. Good value for money

Doesn't really get cold even when it's been in the freezer but comfy to wear none the less

I have dry eyes and my optician recommended I go to bed with a heated eye mask. These are so easy, only 20 seconds in the microwave and they are nice and toasty. I turn the microwave off if I hear they are starting to crackle. They keep the warmth until after I fall asleep and as I just lie them on my eyes and don't use the head strap they just fall off and I find them on the floor the next morning. Have also put in the freezer and used while I'm in a hot bath, so I don't feel too overheated. My last pair lasted over a year (until I slightly overcooked them, oops). Won't ever be without them.

As someone who suffers chronic migraines, these have been invaluable. I do keep mine in the freezer (which they don't recommend) but I find them most soothing when frozen, and the cold temperature lasts longer. I have four which I use in rotation (my migraines can last days). And I put them on my forehead as opposed to directly over the eye. I agree with the reviews that say they are chunky, they're only really comfortable on the eye area when close to room temp and completely malleable (freezing obviously makes them rigid).In terms of hygiene, as they are backed with an unwashable but comfortable velour fabric, I replace mine every 4-6 months. £4-5 per mask is a bargain compared to high street sellers.

Amazing product! So comfortable to wear, stays cold. Have used from fridge and freezer and found it helps so much for headaches! Have not tried with heat yet so cannot comment on that but it's by far one of the most comfortable eye masks I have ever bought. Thank you!

This product is superb, I have previously purchased the Magic Gel and Sleep Dreamz both of which you had to remove the gel pad from the cover and it would slip around not with this one it is manufactured into the design of the gel mask so no having to remove it, it is tight around the eyes and has a velcro strap to keep it in place it covers the eyes superbly and I have just used it now while typing this and I can still feel the cold around my eyes.The other makers need to learn from this there is no need for a separate cover and gel, the Magic Gel eventually leaked out with this you get none of that and you get the added beads in the mask.I would def recommend this product and well done for designing it so well.If it breaks or falls apart I shall re-edit this product but from first use as a cold compress it is great I have yet to try it as a warm/hot compress.
