This book is amazing. It has everything you need to know and more.

Granddaughter wants to making her own clothes

Arrived in time and in very good condition with a bright and glossy cover. Nice and big, about 12 inches by 10 inches. The pages are pleasantly thick and easy to turn. The example drawings are detailed and large, and there are a good amount of helpful description boxes alongside the sketches. The questions and answers with top fashion designers are excellent. The only fault I found is that some of the pages were stuck together at the very top and this ripped them a bit even when gently pulled apart. However, the rips are not too noticeable. I bought this as a gift for a friend aspiring to work in fashion, and I know she'll love it!

Habe es für meine 11 jährige Tochter gekauft, die gerne Mode entwerfen wollte und sich ständig diese geschmacklosen Topmodellblöcke gekauft hatte. Jetzt ist sie begeistert und sagt dass sie nicht wusste, dass es auch anderes gibt. Das Buch enthält viele Beschreibungen wie man loslegen und welche Überlegungen man beim Zeichnen haben könnte, als Vorlage für Figuren habe ich ihr einen Block (Gerties new Fashion Sketchbook) gekauft, bei dem diese leicht auf leeren Blättern angedeutet sind.
