Just received the item, with no smell from the foam. The quality is excellent and well worth the Amazon price. The cushion dimensions are 48 wide x 44 x 8.5cm. See the uploaded pic. My mum is 95y and sits for hours every day in her recliner. She has moderate Alzheimers and cannot use the electric rising feature. When I use ithe riser for her, she starts screaming. Recently, after a fall, she finds it difficult to get up from the chair. She weighs around 67kg (10.5 stone).Therefore, I decided to try this cushion in order to raise the seat cushion height. I will report again, in due course, regarding the cushion's effectiveness.

Very stiff memory foam, which I need being a big fella. I'm using this to fill the dip in a bucket car seat which is designed for far slimmer behinds than mine and is very uncomfortable for me. I have trimmed the foam to shape so it nestles perfectly in the car seat and refitted the cover. I used a bread knife for shaping and this worked perfectly, the stiffness of the foam makes shaping easy. If there were some improvements I'd make; the non-slip dots could do with more grip on a leather chair, it could do with a notch to relieve pressure on the coccyx.I have tried several normal cushions and an orthopaedic cushion but none provide the fit or stiffness I needed. This is a godsend.

it is ok if you don't use for long time it goes flat but then when you get up it goes back ok it is comfy

Let's get this straight - I'm a big guy! I recently purchased a gaming chair,but as the old saying goes,if you buy cheap you buy twice! So whilst waiting for delivery of a chair that doesn't feel like it was designed to torture,I thought a good quality cushion would help me out in the short term,although strictly speaking,it hasn't.First off,the cushion seems high quality,its well made and the cover is quite plush.Good start.Upon first use it felt quite firm and was,initially,very comfortable,however that didn't last long,after approximately 1 hour the cushion was flat and didn't offer much support,which was very disappointing. I think if you're on the lighter side this would be ideal and would offer the support you need,if however,you would class yourself as "chunky" like myself,it isnt the cushion for you,which is slightly disappointing as I specifically chose this item due to the description stating it would indeed support my weight.Back to the gym it is then.

This is very good quality and well made but unfortunately my husband finds it much too hard to sit on comfortably fast delivery.This is an update I use the cushion and love it. It is firm but comfortable making it easier to get out of the chair.

The main feature is yes with almost 170 kg it barely does compress.The second feature is the expensive price.Very tall unfortunately so when you are using a chair even at lowest level you are sitting like in a control tower.So if you like to sit at higher altitude when sitting on your chair buy this.PS: The guy from the advert picture reflect perfectly how hard this is.

So glad I purchased this cushion. It was comfortable and made a huge difference from the get go. Whilst I still have a bit of pain in my lower back at the end of the day (that's probably more to do with my chair's back rest) the cushion has definitely made a difference that my coccyx isn't so painful at the end of the day. The only thing I'd say is whilst the underside material prevents the cushion slipping from the chair, I find myself slipping off the cushion sometimes if I want to pull the chair in, so an all round non-slip cover would be better.

This cushion feels firm to the touch which you might think isn't going to be comfortable - turns out if you weight 110kg then it's actually perfect. The cushion doesn't squash down to nothing like other cushions I've tried. I'd wager this is also handy for lighter folk too.The cushion is also a good large size.Comes in a zip up carry case with handles

I love it. Most cushions get flat or deflate over time. Not this one. I wanted a large cushion so I would have enough room to move around in my chair. The cushion does not move around, even though I move around. I find that the support is amazing. When you sit on it for the first time, the cushion is firm. But give it a few minutes, and the cushion will mold around you. It's thick enough to sit on a hard bench comfortably.

I recently bought a new office chair and I found the seat very hard and uncomfortable. After an hour of sitting in that chair, my butt would get so sore. So I shopped around and did my research and finally bought this cushion. It is very big and very thick. When I sit on this cushion, my butt is in heaven. No more pain. I am a big guy so this cushion handles my 315 lbs very well. And when I get up, it always springs back up to its normal thickness. Well worth the money.

Après 10 mois d'utilisation, cet excellent coussin est presque aussi performant qu'au premier jour, alors que TOUS les autres utilisés dans d'autres marques (6 8 ou 10 cm) n'ont jamais fait plus de 2,5 mois.Par contre, on touche un peu le fond avec un poids de 85 kg.Si un produit similaire existe en 10 cm signalez le SVP.

Eine richtige Wohltat für das Kreuz. Man muss sich erst daran gewöhnen. Aber eine totale Erleichterung beim Sitzen. Die richtige Sitzhöhe. Keine Kreuzschmerzen mehr.
