Hi, these headphones are very light and quite well padded, they would be fine if you fell asleep while sitting up or even on your back. The diameter of the cups is quite small so they tend to sit on the ears rather than around the ears but they are so light weight and lightly sprung that you can wear them comfortably for quite a while.
