I love this mask, based on previous reviews I wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin but for me it improves any blemishes I have appearing.

Mess-free mask that succeeded in minimising pores
This little sachet rips open to reveal a wet, slippery piece of material. Once unfolded, it becomes a circle with holes for your eyes, nose and mouth. You apply it to clean skin and pat it down into place. The wetness means that it adheres well to the skin, and the circle easily covered my whole face - in fact, it was a bit too big. You can adjust it so that the holes are in the right place for you, and I found it fairly comfortable, with just a slight tingling and tightening sensation. After leaving it on for ten minutes, I removed it and found my skin felt cool, refreshed, and slightly tight. I was impressed to see that the pores on my nose looked less noticeable! It's a shame that the packaging doesn't instruct you whether or not to moisturise afterwards. My skin had a very slight tackiness to it, so I wouldn't advise using the mask just before applying make-up. I would definitely advise doing a patch test with a bit of the mask, as although I had no problems, others clearly have had reactions!I did like this mask, it was fun to use (and made me look hilarious!) and seemed to have positive results, but it's a little pricey for a single use product.

Ineffective and eye / nose / mouth cutouts are messy & uneven
I was expecting a lot more from this product since the Yes To Coconuts wipes I tried were amazing! The mask itself is like a thin black cloth with holes cut into it. Sadly the material is only half cut out, not fully cut and removed to have clean holes for eyes nose and mouth so the surplus bits dangle around annoyingly as you try to arrange it on your face.It comes pre-soaked in a liquid and you place it on your face for 10 minutes. It stays on well enough that you can be up and about doing stuff (or lie down and chill!)It is irritating in that it's not very evenly shaped and is just a tiny bit too small (maybe I was unlucky with this particular one?)Also, it doesn't quite reach over my jaw line, which other masks do. If I positioned it to cover as much of my nose as possible then the liquid was getting in my eyes. The whole mask didn't lay perfectly flat on my face so there were bits That were creased up and not touching my skin.I found that while it did tingle for the 10 minutes I was wearing it, it didn't have much effect afterwards. For detoxing my skin I will stick to my usual clay masks :)

Sticky and scary looking
I'd read some of the other reviews of this product and feared the worst. Fortunately I haven't come out in a red rash like some of the others. Whilst I didn't have a negative experience with this mask I still wouldn't use one again. Unfolding it after taking it out of the packet was a job in itself. When I eventually did manage it I applied it to my face and I suppose it would be fair to say it was "ill-fitting". The eye holes were ma-hoo-sive! The nose hole was down by my upper lip and the mouth hole showed my chin off to the world. Overall I felt I looked like a villain from a Batman film. A really rubbish villain, although I scared the dog.I left it on for ten minutes. It did tingle a bit and it smelt quite pleasant, but when I was done I was left with a sticky face. And I'm still ugly. Mind you, the instructions on the packet did say "Apply it to your gorgeous face" so maybe this product wasn't meant for me anyway.....

Convenient packaging though a bit strong
After having suffered a break out on my face thanks to some new makeup I'd tried, I was very keen to give this a go. I opened the packet and found that a paper mask is just that- it's a piece of paper that's imbued with the mask. It has cut outs for eyes, nose and mouth, with the one for the eyes having flaps you can fold down again. I have a small head, enough so that with my short hair that I have to either buy my beanies from the kids' dept in older youth sizes and can only buy ball cap styles that are adjustable. I mention this because whilst others have stated in their reviews that the mask did not quite reach their jaw lines and the holes did not line up, I had no such problems. The mask did tingle once applied, and where I had spots, it was a little uncomfortable for a bit. I left the eye flaps up until the final half of the ten minutes. My eyes smarted for a long moment and I almost flipped them back up, but my eyes did not tear up and the tingling settled, so I left it, realizing it was similar to a reaction I'd had years before to a product that also used fruit enzymes to exfoliate and which had done me no harm. When it was all finished, I was left with smooth, soft skin that had a bit of a pink tinge to it, though I did find I had to rinse away a bit of tackiness with cool water first as the mask seemed to leave some kind of residue behind. I noticed it brought up some deeper impurities toward the surface, which I had hoped for what with the breakout and all, so I treated those and the pinkness of my skin with a light layer of Sudocrem which I rubbed in gently. By the next day both the pinkness of my skin and said impurities were gone.Final verdict: nice little item to have in the cabinet when skin can use an extra pick me up treatment in addition to my usual clay masks. Format is also handy for packing to take traveling, unlike glass jars of clay masks, so something to perhaps take along the next holiday e go on in order to keep my skin looking tip top.
