AKORD Elastic Spool Of Thread For Beading, 0.5mm

This is strong and nice and stretchy. Don't know about the length as I don't intend to unroll it all to measure, but it looks like there is plenty on the spool. I bought this to re string a necklace as it's way too short (I have extra beads) looked up on Internet how to tie it as it kept slipping and I dibble stabbed it for extra strength, not that it's needed as I tied a piece into a bracelet size and pulled like mad and it didn't slip of break. More likely to cut your hands than break it. Will buy more if ever I need it again.

I ordered this to repair an old, much-loved bracelet that had broken. It is exactly what I needed to repair it, as I did not wish to leave my bracelet at the jewellers for a week, plus it would have been expensive to have it repaired there. Parcel did take a while to arrive due to some unforeseen delay - but when I enquired about the package, the help I received from the friendly staff was excellent. I purchased this to make craft bracelets with my son - mainly to work on fine motor skills (threading), but also a nice little present for female family members. It did take some time to arrive, but it was okay for the price. It arrived neatly wound and well packaged. It is however quite thin feeling to me. It is roughly the same hick was of dental floss, and when it stretches it reacts like memory foam in the sense that it slowly returns to its original shape, although I'm convinced that excess stretching will make it loose some of the elasticity and it will just be permanently loose. It is way to work with making bracelets, but I do not feel would be good enough quality for a high quality project. It worked great for what we have done and it was great value, bit I do not think I would purchase again.

I am often asked by my wife to try to repair bracelets and neclaces that she's paid a lot of money for but have fallen to pieces in no time at all.Finding this item on Amazon, has made repairs not only easier, but the repairs last. It's a pity that manufacturers don't use this quality thread in the first place - perfect for those expanding bracelets that are so popular these days. Plus, you can take different bracelets to pieces and rebukd using your own designs at very little cost.Excellent item, well worth the 5stars granted

Took quite a while to arrive but in fairness that was advertised. It isn't bad but it isn't quite as stretchy as I wanted so I bought some further from elsewhere. However, it does have some stretch to it and would possibly suit an older child/adult better and would be more useful and fit for purpose. My 4 year old isn't brilliant at getting stuff on and off so the extra stretch is needed to make it fit well but enable her to get her bracelet on and off herself. Not band for very reasonable price.

I absolutely recommend this product for those who have broken bracelets or any acessories, this product has made my bracelet 10x more better looking and it feels more safe and secure around my wrist. On the other hand, when you come to the point by tieing the strings together it may be a bit of a struggle if you don't do it correctly. But overall this product is great and its cheap & cheerful! :)

I bought this to fix a bracelet that I bought on holiday, after threading the beads on and tieing it together I noticed that it was going to be a bit of a stretch to fit it onto my wrist again, but to my surprise the elastic was so strong! I have no problem pulling it on and off again and I'm sure the elastic will not snap unlike the one that was used before. Great :)

I bought this to re-thread my Links Bracelet. However every knot I use keeps coming undone due to the slippery nature of this elastic. I tried a surgeons knot as recommended on line within minutes it had come undone.

Lo compré porque a mi hijo se le rompió una pulsera y está muy bien porque tiene cierta elasticidad necesaria, pero a la vez es resistente en su uso.El color transparente es perfecto pues disimula entre las cuentas/mostacillas de la pulsera.Lo recomiendo.
