A good book for Rolex lovers
I love mechanical watches and Rolex's are one of my favourites, this book is great, not as comprehensive as I'd thought but for the price it's excellent

Great Rolex read
Great book covering the history of Rolex and detailing key watches. Would be great if there was a similar book covering Tudor watches.

Nice little book for the moneyโฆ
Nice little book, not exactly packed with info although the photos are plentiful and high quality, and few years behind the curve, however for the ยฃ8.68 it cost at time of review itโs a nice addition to any Rolex/watch book collection, not sure Iโd be so complimentary at the ยฃ29.99 rrp though.

Good Coffee Table Book, Poor History Book
Lots of pictures and there are sections on each of the sports models that are 2-3 pages long each. A good book if you're just looking to open it at any page a read a little bit about the sports models. The History section can be read in half an hour or less and is very high level. Nothing much about Hans Wilsdorf and even less on Alfred Davis. Wilsdorf is heaped with praise about his marketing tactics but the reader is not exposed to anything in depth. I got this book after reading the Patek Philippe Authorized Biography and that book is a history book proper packed with facts, many of which you won't find online. This book is a casual fun book, good for the coffee table, good for the layman or casual Rolex fan, but nothing particularly useful for a WIS or watch history buff.

Excellent. Had a few facts about Rolex that were unknown to me. Good quality pictures complete the overall package. Recommended for any half-serious watch collector.

Incomplete work
I read through this book, cover to cover, in 45 minutes. The information may only be adequate for someone who's never heard of Rolex before. Nothing here goes in-depth, it's all surface level and really would benefit from a little more effort.
