Bodymax CF660 Lat Pulldown / low pulley

Very good item, Pull-downs of all descriptions and various rows can be performed with the freedom of adding your own weight plates so not limited to pre-prescribed progressions.I would be interested to know how much the carrying bar weighs, as I am OCD about how much weight i am moving, weigh yours before assembly and let me know!!!Was fairy easy to put together (cables took some thought) but you will need a socket set.

Cables are essential for any gym, high and low. The tower gives full rom as long as you take off the chain and use only the carabiner otherwise you might not get a full strech (for pulldowns). However the chain is handy for tricep work. This machine is quite customizable, in that you can buy various attachments for it. It is sturdy and able to hold a good amount of weight. Unlike a lot of home towers you can use olympic plates on it.It is easy to assemble, although the cable system like all cable systems can be complex if you don't know what you're doing. Overall it took me about two hours to assemble it.Overall I would recommend this product.

Ive only had this 2 months and now the cable has broken with the metal cable ripped out the rubber casing in 2 different locations! Cant even use it now

When I bought this item from powerhouse fitness I definitely would have given 5 stars after the first few months of use. However 2 years in, it's down to 2 stars. I train 5 days a week and have 2 teenage lads training about the same. So with split routines it's getting used about every other day. That's no where near commercial gym usage but you would expect reasonable wear and tear. The pulley wheels start to disintegrate after about 6 months, when one goes they all then start to go. I'm now on the third set of pulley wheels. I started with the Chinese replacements which have a guarantee of just 6 months. The cable also starts to shed its plastic coating after about a year. In short theirs a price to buying cheap. If it's just you training it's probably a reasonable purchase but any real use and it's all about spare parts and maintenance. I now wish I'd spent twice the amount for a more robust product.

Very smooth once built I have used many pieces of equipment and its comparable to most commercial equipment- it does t have the same sturdy feel but operationally and functionality is the same. The instructions may as well have been in an alien language as they make no sense- I felt like an archeology student trying to decipher ancient hieroglyphics. Good price of kit for the cash.

i've edited my review to reflect powerhouse fitness inability to resupply me with a faulty part. They're quick to take your money but then when there is an issue they're slow to resolve it. The machine is of good quality but the weight holder where u load the plates works at a slant when u pull the pulley down- weights have been digitally measured and spirit level confirms this is on even ground. Might be a manufacturing fault but causes a lot of friction... Powerhouse have since confirmed to me the problem and said theyd send the spare part yet i've now chased on this for nearly three weeks. It's not good enough. I've submitted a claim with amazon... but frankly they hold the cards because without the replacement part the machine does not work as it should.

Easy to install and does the job. Good quality.
