it was good, i liked the length and it worked as expected but i dropped my phone a little bit (probably less than 1m distance) and it wasnt even that harsh it landed on carpet, but it broke and got stuck inside my phone, i had to take it out with some pliers :-(. Ive probably dropped my phone while charging many times while using apple chargers and its never happened to me before. It really broke just like that, or maybe it was weak at the start. I bought in mid may, it broke today on dec 15th. Not sure id buy again, maybe just buy the apple ones

In truth, there isn't a great deal you can write about a cable. This is white. 1.8m in length. Has a USB connector at one end and a Lighting connector at the other. It is sturdy, well made and durable. It offers additional protection at the parts of the cable that will experience the most wear and tear, the parts just below the connectors. In other cables and leads I have purcahsed these are the two areas where wear is most noticeable and the areas that eventually leads to the wires becoming exposed even broken. Anker have factored this into their design. The cable is made for Apple products that use a Lighting connector. It also states that it offers faster charging with industry-leading technology built in. I have noticed my phone does appear to charge quicker! Anker products are MFI certified. So at least you won't see that message appear on your Apple screen that basically says you've just wasted your money. I have now anker solar panels, power battery, USB plug, charging cable •ᵉᵗ.ͨ ...and for each item needing or giving charge So because of this so nothing gets mixed up I have different colours for different items That's why I paid a £1 more for blue charging cable As for the cable itself wow does it feelike the ultimate cable. Because the Sat-Nav in my car is quite out of date I use a mapping app on my phone instead. However, on long journeys the battery in the phone needs re-charging so I bought this cable to connect my phone to a USB socket in the glovebox so that it's charging the phone on the journey. I need to see my phone in a holder to the right of the steering wheel and the USB socket is on the left so I needed a 3 metre cable to be able to route it along the door pillars and across the top of the windscreen (it's possible to hide the cable inside the headlining). I thought 3 metres would have been plenty but it was only just long enough. The cable works well in that it does charge my phone from the USB socket, I'm not sure if I can transfer any data but if not, that's probably not a fault of the cable. I can't fault the cable and it appears durable and well made, although a thinner cable and another 10 cm in length would have been easier to route. Recommended

Hier heißen ein paar Euro mehr echt auch mehr Qualität. Im Gegensatz zu den billigeren Produkten ist das Kabel deutlich hochwertiger in verpackt. Der Gummimantel wirkt sehr hochwertig. Außerdem wurde ein kleiner Reißverschluss zum einrollen mitgeliefert, der sehr hilfreich ist. Datenübertragung und Laden je nach Adapter natürlich sehr gut. Bitte beachten; für schnelles Laden ist ein entsprechender Adapter notwendig (z.b 20W).

Da mir aber die original Kabel zu teuer sind und trotz des Preises nicht allzu lange halten, habe ich mir die von Anker bestellt. Die Kabel sind um einiges robuster und machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck. Mir ist seitdem ich sie vor einigen Monaten bestellt habe noch nicht eins kaputtgegangen und bis jetzt hat auch noch keins Anzeichen von Kabelbruch (was bei den original Kabeln oft und schnell passiert)

I have seen many reviews on Amazon, random websites, and Facebook posts toting that this is one of the best cords out there. I am somewhat obsessive when it comes to researching random items to buy off of Amazon to the point where my wife yells at me to get off my phone as I read reviews and watch YouTube videos on products. When I saw this cord I was thinking I found a winner. Good length, nice color options, fits most cases, sturdy design. Also the Lifetime warranty was what pushed this over the edge. I was tired of replacing with random $10 dollar cables every other month. So I took henplunge and bought the Anker PowerLine II. I was quite excited when I received it and was very happy for about 3 months. Then one day I went to connnect my phone to the USB port in my car to start Waze and stream Spotify. BUT, there was no vibration indicating that my IPhone 8 was charging. Maybe I missed it. But the music never came on nor did my iPhone charge. I thought it was my cars USB port. So I tried another 12v charger. Nothing. I tried a regular plug in Apple certified wall charger nothing. I tested all the charging/UDB ports with an Apple certified cord and hey all worked. Even my frayed cable that the Anker PowerLine II replaced worked. I was very disappointed. I’m hoping hat I just got a lemon and this isn’t a reoccurring trend. I have submitted a claim with Anker Customer Support and we will see how everything goes. I will updat the review based on their response and how they fulfill their warranty. Update 2/10/2018: After speaking with customer service via email and going through the return policy via the Anker website I must say that I am quite pleased with Anker as a company. They shipped out the product surper fast and I put the lightning cable to use. Everything was great!!! I must say I possible got a defective cable, but the warranty process and customer service was top notch. I have couple of Anker products such as a power bank and just recently a iPhone case by Anker. I must say the company is putting out great products with great customer service. I highly recommend them for any of you electronic needs.

Lasted 8 months under heavy duress, I think lighting chargers are just designed to fail. Just bought another, it’s better then the typical Chinese junk you’d buy that all sorts of power transfer issues after a few charges. This works great, Apple sadly just designed garbage, it is what it is.
