Bosch Electric Lawnmower Rotak 34 R (1300 W, Cutting width: 34 cm, 20-70 mm adjustable cutting height, In carton packaging)

I got this to replace my manual lawnmower (as in it was powered by pushing, not that this is automatic like the robo-lawn mowers). Compared to that, this cuts so well and easily, at the desired length and has no problem with slight damp or wet grass and flattening the grass with the wheels instead of cutting it. It does a great, even cut to the adjustable height (there are only I think 4 heights possible though, maybe 5 but I find I only use one length anyway (3) so that doesn't seem to matter.Only slightly annoying thing is the power cable is always out so you have to keep slinging it over shoulder and whipping it out of the way to make sure you don't mow it yourself. However, this is still better than having some sort of retractable thing that goes wrong so not taking a star off for it but it does mean I can only really do my lawn efficiently by starting in one place and going back and forth from near to far of the power socket I use. If I wanted to do my lines up and down instead, for example, then I would have to move more wire each trip which could get annoying as it's a long wire.

Have had this Bosch model before which lasted years before I replaced it with a bigger mower which I eventually decided was too big & heavy for my uneven & multi level garden. So I’ve gone back to this size of Bosch. Assembled in 15 mins & tested on the lawn, it quickly cut the grass & picked up all the big lumps of grass the old mower churned out so happy with what it does. Only 4 stars as the grass box, plastic covering & handle is much flimsier than the older version of Bosch & I don’t think it will last as many years.

Bosch 36 R Lawn MowerI received this Mower well before the stated date. It was not too difficult to put together. The most difficult part was releasing the grass box to get to the rear wheels.Once put together I set the cutter to the highest cut (as I had not mowed the lawn for about 7 months). It did a great job considering the grass was so long and therefore damp.It has saved me so much time than using my hover mower, thanks Bosch. The height adjustment was very easy to use.The mower is quite well made and seems robust, and easy to use, however, it is a little difficult to turn around on a small lawn (it may be easier once the grass is shorter).The grass box is a little flimsy and needs to have one hand on the inside to support it when closing/opening the clips.The machine is very quiet, which is a good thing.Too many nooks and crannies, makes it a long cleaning job.The instructions are ok but they could do with some explanations, page 15 example 8 is not very easy to distinguish the images, they all look the same, except for the grass box. They remind me of the pictures you get where you have to look for the difference between two identical ones.Overall, this is a very good mower, especially at this price.Having now used this mower for several months I find it easier to go forward then backward, instead of trying to turn around.

The Bosch Rotak 34R is a corded mower and needs its 10-metre power cable to be connected to a mains socket that provides a very respectable 1300-watt motor. The rollers are a nice option and will give the lawn a very professional striped look.It has all the other standard features one would expect from a quality lawnmower such as a good range of cut height options and a decent steel blade.It comes standard with a 2-year guarantee which you can extend to 3 years. After-sales service is good and replacement parts are easy to get and well priced.Feedback from customers that have purchased this model is extremely positive. There are very few negative comments and most people are very happy with their choice.Overall I think this is a fantastic mower and I encourage anyone looking for a simple mower that gets the job done quickly and efficiently to seriously consider this mower.
