Purchased for my wife who has difficulty in holding a book for any length of time as it causes her pain. She has been delighted with it and has been able to read for long periods with no discomfort. Yes, it's a bit of a flaff turning the pages and securing them in place but a small inconvenience if it enables you to do something you enjoy which you would otherwise be unable to do. On the negative side, the plastic strip which holds the book in place is not of the best quality. It was already scratched on receipt and has now started to bubble after about a month.

I don't use this for holding a book; if I look at the book description and it says the book will be more than 2cm thick, I will buy it on Kindle. So I use it to prop up the Kindle Fire (which I use as a Kindle Paperwhite because it was cheaper) on the arm of the chair which makes it easier to read. I cut off the string and the plastic thing because I thought it wouldn't help holding the Kindle in place.

I brought this as a gift for my husband, I was a bit disappointed as it is not as big as it appears in photos and not a sturdy. the book sear will hold a paperback, iPad or a kindle ok but not a heavy big book. So it is good for hands free and will stay in place when you hold it on your lap, can't see anyone taking it to the beach like you see in one of the photos. It expensive for what it is.

Ridiculously expensive for what it is but very very good. Made reading books, kindle or using iPad much easier and comfortable. I’d got a cheaper bean bag type at first which I found no use at all - bit the bullet price wise, ordered the book seat and I’m glad I did.

Have purchased two of these for "us indoors" as well as a third as a gift. Brilliant bit of kit for paperbacks, hardbacks or tablets. I find the page holder a bit of a faff, but just tuck it under and no problem. Does seem a bit expensive at first glance but is a really well made, quality product. Would highly recommend.

Wellade product. Easy to read my book or phone now, with painful hands and arms.

When this first arrived I was surprised by how light it was. There was no way it was going to support a book, let alone a tablet..... However... Never judge a sausage by its skin...... It actually works really well for books and supports the weight of our tablet too which is a 12" Samsung Galaxy, so no lightweight. It probably would struggle with large hardback tomes and large reference books but for the average novel it's fine.

Klasse Idee. Gut verarbeitet und hält auch dicke gebundenen Büchern fest. Ich habe sie für meine Mutter gekauft, sodass sie nicht immer das Buch halten muss und sie kommt prima zurecht damit und möchte es nicht mehr missen.

Me duele el cuello y me gusta leer el libro electrónico recostada, pero el resto de atriles resultaban incómodos. Este es perfecto porque resulta muy moldeable y sostiene el libro en cualquier postura y sobre las piernas dobladas.
