Maypole is proud of it's long heritage of manufacturing and marketing products which are supplied into Automotive, Trailer, Leisure and the Agricultural Markets. The company was founded in 1969 and one of the first products produced was a trailer lighting board. Over 40 years on ... are still producing these, except these days there are over 100 different designs and we produce in the 10's of thousands (not 10's!).

Don't think I'll bother with it again
Upside - it does keep the frost offDownsides - the large version (I listened to other reviewers and bought large) only just fits a Peugeout 207- the wheel trims on the car have rounded edges therefore the elastic straps don't fit securely, they twang quite viciously back in your face if you're not careful.- The slightest breeze and the whole thing slides off.- Even when it has done its job you're then stuck with a dripping wet sheet of plastic stored in your boot.- Have to take the radio aerial off the car roof (hadn't thought of that before purchasing admittedly)Think I'll go back to the old bed sheet on the windscreen tucked under the wipers next time it gets a bit nippy.

Frosted windows will be a thing of the past!
Bought for my girl friends new car, exactly what was advertised for a very reasonable price. I also have one for my car and while it has taken some damage over the years it still does the job. I'd expect one of these to last about 3-5 years. The clips being the main weakness as during a cold spell a plastic clip broke when the wind took the sheet and it collided with the floor.

Bit on the small side
Bought a size large as many of the previous reviews stated that the car covers are small.I drive a citroen c1 and the large does not cover it. It covers the front window but falls short of completely covering the rear window screen. On the plus side it does the job during frosty weather.

Very good cover
This is a very good cover but check the sizing as I ordered a large one for my Ford Focus and it does not cover all of the front and rear windscreens, there is approx 180mm at the bottom of both that is not covered and the hooks to hold it on are hard to find a good anchor point

Okay...Just
Large...really ! I have a Mk5 Golf and fully stretched the large covers half the windscreen and half the back screen, and no wing mirrors. The one I was sent is actually made by Streetwize and none of the product codes match those on the Amazon site. But i suppose it might provide some sort of ice/frost protection, we will see.
