Three years ago, I developed severe keratoris pilaris (KP) on my arms and shoulders, having never had it before - angry, red, lumpy skin that sheds (like sunburn), but with spots like mild acne. I tried over a dozen products, consulted my GP, as well as a private dermatologist. Nothing even made a dent. I tried products containing urea (of which I'm a huge fan and use daily as a facial moisturiser), but they made very little difference. In despair, I decided to increase the percentage and found this cream. It is an absolute game-changer! Within two applications, I could see a difference. Within eight applications, over three weeks, the improvement was astonishing. I am now using it every day and my skin is smooth to the touch (having felt like sandpaper), the redness is fading and the 'active' spots/whiteheads (caused by excessive keratin production) have almost completely disappeared. My condition is hormonal. I was told by my GP and dermatologist that not much could be done, other than regular exfoliation and 1% retinol. How wrong they were! The other ingredients in this cream help, but it's the high concentration of urea that really makes a difference. As other reviewers have noted, it is extremely thick (you could seal your bath and grout your tiles with it!), but who cares?! I'm more than happy to put in the effort to work it into my skin for such exceptional results. It leaves a slightly sticky (albeit non-greasy) film on the skin, so it's best applied in the evening. I have ordered another three tubes as I don't want to run out. This is my holy grail, after years of failed products, wasted money and disappointing medical advice. If you have KP, try this!

I have had psoriasis on my upper arms and lower face since I was a kid. I am now in my 30s. I have always felt very self conscious about the red bumpy skin, and so for years I didn't wear short sleeves. I finally looked up the what the condition actually was a few years ago on the NHS website and read the information there about psoriasis and it appeared that there was not much that could be done to ameliorate the condition and no cure. However after having done more research online into psoriasis last year I read that creams with urea in could reduce the appearance of symptoms. This cream (30% urea) has really helped. I have been using it for 3 months and have seen a big reduction in the redness, the amount of bumps, and the remaining bumps are much much more minor. I have been using it twice a day alongside using a loofah on the area everyday when showering. I'm not sure whether the bumps and redness will go 100% if I continue using it or whether/how quickly it will come back if I stop using it. On the product itself: the cream is from a Romanian manufacturer and there are no instructions or details in English on or with the product. The cream is really thick. Like wall filler consistency. I use a toothpaste kind of amount on each arm with every application. You have to squeeze the tube quite hard to get it out, and then it forms a bit of a sticky layer over the area that I guess is slowly absorbed. The first time I used it I tried to thin it by mixing it with my regular moisturiser, but this doesn't really work and I realised its probably this thick for a reason - I guess it traps in moisture and allows it to be absorbed over a longer time. Despite how effective the cream is, I don't use it on my face anymore, where the condition was anyway more mild. Instead I use a 10% urea one from another brand for my face, as this product, due to its thickness, seemed to clog my pores and I ended up with a few spots. But its been working great on my arms. This is the fist amazon review I've left. I just wanted to leave it here incase other people with psoriasis were looking at the product. I can't say if it will work so well for other people, but I wanted to share my experience. Before finding this product I used a couple of other creams for a few months that were 10% urea. They also helped, but I think this one has reduced the visibility of the psoriasis much more, though it is more expensive per ml than the other creams I tried. Now I know it works I tend to now buy a few tubes at a time as it is only 50ml so doesn't last super long. I'll try to record how quickly I get through it next time I start a new tube...

I recently developed severe dryness on my heels with multiple layer peeling which seemed to be fungal as I just couldn’t attribute it to anything else. I used this cream consistently for 6 weeks and it eventually completely cleared it up. I am continuing to use it until I feel that I don’t need to anymore although as it is, it actually works really well as a foot cream. One does have to press a little hard to get it out of the tube but this is exactly as I expected and what I wanted - a really thick cream! I imagine I’ll be ordering it again as it’s a really good product.

This cream is really thick. It's like trying to squeeze solid butter from a tube. However it is also really effective against psoriasis and very dry skin. So, I will definitely buy this product again although it is not very easy to use at the beginning (you have to squeeze extremely hard the first time).

It's good Second purchase

Unable to squeeze from the tube the product is way too thick! Should maybe of been packaged in a tub?! Thought about cutting open the tupe but will return instead.

Aber der Harnstoff trägt zur Heilung bei und es funktioniert. Haben entsprechende Stellen über Nacht abgedeckt und verbunden, damit es gut wirkt.
