A beautiful lamp, which is made to look like old water pipes. It is not made out of real pipes, it is just painted metal that looks like pipes. From a distance, you do not see that it is fake, but up close you can clearly see it is not the real deal.It comes with a dimmer switch, so you need to make sure that the light bulb you use with it is dimmable. I made the mistake that the first light bulb I put in it was not dimmable, so that bulb was a write-off within a second.

So pleased with these that I have ordered three in total, two as desk lights and one as a reading lamp. Robustly made, modelled on old water pipes and take an ES bulb - the smoky vintage ones or plain white LED versions look equally as good, depending on your taste.Supplied with in-line dimmer switches, that I have replaced with in-line ‘on/off’ torpedo switches, but that’s just my personal preference, nothing wrong with the dimmers at all.Delighted with these (daughter impressed too, which is a plus!) and would thoroughly recommend.

So SO very disappointed!! Not sure what went wrong with these two lamps. I literally had one plugged in and working for about 10 seconds to test it.... installed it in my bedroom, went to plug in the second one and when I was screwing in the second bulb I heard a "POP' and then a fuse blew. After that the first one didn't work and absolutely nothing from the second. What a waste of money!!! I was so looking forward to these in my bedroom as would have looked so nice with my decor... sad!
