6N, I AM PLEASANTLY SURPRISED WITH THE GOOD RESULTS
I BOUGHT THE 6 N , I WAS NOT SURE WHAT TO EXPECT , AND IF IT WILL COVER ALL OF THE GREY AT 100% I LEFT IT ON THE ROOTS FOR 40 MINUTES , AS I HAVE A LOTS OF GERY HAIRS . I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE RESULTS . IT COVERED ALL OF MY GREY HAIR WITHOUT GIVING ME A REDISH COLOUR .THE SHADE 6 N , IS PERFECT, GIVE ME A BEAUTIFUL RESULTS AND COVERAGE AT 100% OF THE GREY HAIR . I AM VERY HAPPY , I WILL BUY IT AGAIN . I DID BOUGHT OTHERS BRANDS BEFORE , BUT THIS ONE IS THE BEST SO FAR . I RATHER SWITCH TO A MORE NATURAL PERMANENT HAIR COLOUR NOW , WITH LESS TOXIC INGREDIENTS AS POSSIBLE .

Fantastic product
I was nervous of switching from the product I had been using for more than 2 years but I am very glad I did. Tints of Nature smells pleasant (it has no chemical odour as my old brand did) and was easy to apply. All my grey is covered perfectly and my hair is in good condition. I like the cap that covers your hair during the colouring process as there is no danger of drips (my old brand dripped messily, which is why I gave up on it in the end). After reading the Tints of Nature website's tips for covering grey, I used a hairdryer to warm my hair for a couple of minutes while I had the cap on, and I left the product on for 40 minutes before rinsing. I also avoided washing my hair the following day. Ten days later, the colour hasn't faded at all so I feel confident that I won't need to colour it again until the roots show in 4-6 weeks. (I'll edit this review if it does fade in the meantime.)The only thing I find odd about this product is the colour description of Dark Blonde. I consider I have dark brown hair but my previous John Frieda colour was 6N (though described as Light Natural Brown) so I chose the Tints of Nature 6N shade. It's perfect.I will definitely continue using Tints of Nature from now on.

A great colourant- just beware of the shade you choose.
I really like tints of nature colours. They contain fewer chemicals, do not smell awful and are a lot gentler on my hair. I purchased this as my second colour, after initially purchasing a medium brown. The medium brown took incredibly well and was very dark, almost comparable to the darkest brown shades I previously bought of other colours. It took 2 hours of wrapping my hair in a concoction of ground up vitamin c tablets and baby shampoo to lift it to a desirable shade. I decided to try this colour and it has coloured my hair a mid brown, with less red and more yellowy blonde colouring to it- I am far more pleased with the result. I'd highly recommend doing a strand test or buying a couple of shades lighter than your desired colour to begin with (worst case scenario the vit c and baby shampoo trick did work- wrap your head in cling film). It doesn't sting, stink or make my eyes water and although it takes a little longer to colour (you need to wash your hair first with a cleansing shampoo they provide) the results leave me feeling happy. Less chemicals= happy me.Note- the photo shows the initial colour and after 2 hours of vitamin c to lift the colour

I do like the product but..
This does give me a good coverage and I like the fact that you pre-shampoo your hair with the provided charcoal shampoo and then add the dye. But why is it with these more “natural” dyes that they’re so hard to wash out?! It is a chore dying the hair because it takes basically a whole tank of hot water to try and wash the product out! Infact, I had to let the tank refill and reheat and then wash it again. It just takes forever.. it is like a coating of some sort that is water resistant! Very frustrating and costly! I switched from Naturtint for this exact same issue! The end product when finally there, is a good colour and coverage.

Works really well
Very pleased, been using this for ages, it covers grey very well and doesn’t dry my hair out, makes it feel soft and shiny after use

... and this was the first I tried and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me
I read A LOT of reviews before changing to natural hair dye but I was determined and this was the first I tried and I love it. It's the perfect shade for me. I don't mind the initial shampoo either, most reviews I read were disappointed it made the hair coarse but I just found it really CLEANED the hair so as the dye takes better to the hair. It doesn't make the hair tangled and doesn't cause knots so once combed the dye is easy to get through the hair again. I have short, very fine hair so I never use the whole bottle but I'm really impressed. The smell is strange the first time you use as it's a natural smell rather than of chemicals but i'd rather that than burning my scalp (which I have actually done with scars to prove before with the chemical hair dyes). It's just a different product and you can't expect the same as what you get with the chemical dyes. I also think it makes my hair softer and silky after I've dyed it. Really impressed and so were my family. It lasts around 3-4 weeks but I don't find that my roots are massively showing but rather that the whole colour fades more naturally. Happy to then dye my hair say every 4-6 weeks. The price is more expensive than say some of the chemical ones but I'm actually fine with that when I know it's better for my hair and skin.
