We recently bought a house that has quartz kitchen countertops. There was a seam between 2 pieces that had a 1/16" or better difference between the slabs. I just got finished using the polishing pad kit, with really great results.It took a bit of time using the 50 grit pad because there was so much to remove, but the others followed quickly, and the finished job is fabulous. No more lip between the slabs, and the polish is exactly the same as the original.The pads worked very well, but I recommend using water as a lubricant and coolant during all phases of polishing.By the way, there was an adhesive "note" on the velcro pad holder, stating that because of the feedback from Amazon reviews, the glue used to hold it to the baxking pad is now stronger and better. I totally agree, no issues at all. Kudos to the company for listening! I Highly Recommend this product A+++.

I use these pads to polish rocks, stones and minerals. I’ve been purchasing a no name brand off of Amazon for a while now and last time they completely scratched up my rocks. Not sure if it was a bad batch or what but it was time to find a new product. I came across these Waies brand and the first thing that stood out was the fact that there was a name attached to them. Most are off brand, made in china, no name junk. Figured I’d give them a shot and see if I could salvage my $500 agates that were ruined. When I first received the pads and saw that the 6000 and 10000 grit pads were a different material I was nervous. I honestly didn’t think they polish, it feels very rough and I almost started a return before even trying them. I am so glad I gave them a shot, by grit 800 all of the scratches were gone and I could see a beautiful shine coming through. The backing is rock solid and strong. The pads are strong and sturdy as well. There is no play, movement or bending which will lead to uneven wear. I am beyond impressed by these pads and I’m already setting up a purchase for more sets before I can’t find these again. Thank you so much for making such an amazing product! Only bad thing is I now have to re polish every rock from the past now that I see the true potential of polishing.l with high quality pads.Add on- The off brand are $35-40. Not only are these 10 times better, they’re less expensive!

This set comes with a backing pad, and all of the appropriate grits from 50 to 10,000. Each of the pads are clearly marked and color-coded which is a huge plus. I occasionally use micro mesh pads that are color-coded but not labeled, so you have to be really careful to keep them in order.I used this kit to touch up some scratched marble tiles I was installing. I used water while sanding/polishing which I highly recommend to improve the life of the pads and the quality of finish. They weren't deep scratches, but I started at 50 and worked my way up to 10,000. I'm using a right-angle drill with variable speed.The hook and loop on everything was solid yet easy to peel off. Everything about this kit seems to be good quality, but I struggled to get good results. I've tried multiple times, but I just don't get a glossy finish. I do a lot of woodturning, so I'm well aware of how to sand and progress through the grits and then the buffing/polishing. Maybe it is the marble and the fact that I'm so used to the behavior of wood, but I just don't like the results I have been getting.

I used this for a stone (granite) sink I cut. I had some problem with the backer pad, but the seller replaced it quickly. The pads themself worked well.

This was a nice complete set. I've done a lot of polishing and they are still going strong.

Can easily destroy you project. Don't buy this unless you have someone who know how to use properly.

Disks slide off easily. After centering on plate, disk will move off center and fly off.

Just refinished our old marble table today with these discs and I must say I am very impressed with this product and love the final result!Our kitchen table had that dull look, water drip stains and a couple of cup stains that were visible, along with one deep-ish scratch. I was a little hesitant at first with the undertaking but was impressed with each grit change on the changes I could see.Follow the directions to a T and rinse off between stages so you don’t have a coarser material to cause scratches. The first few discs are very aggressive and I didn’t find that I used them long at all. The last three stages was where I spent the most time and was amazed how the shine came out on the last two stages.Definitely something you want to do outside as there is a lot of material being flung off. Took some time to clean up after as we did it inside…Be patient and take your time for beautiful results.First time trying something like this with no regretsPictures aren’t in order but you should get the idea. Mirror finish in the end!
