So easy to use and effective.

Brought to remove dandelions from my lawn. The ground was wet so soft soil however this tool removed dandelions without too much damage to the lawn. Just hook it around the base and lever out using the ground as leverage.The tool has a good handle, quite solid and ‘v’ is a good size . Removed the dandelions easily

I am REPLACING all my small garden tools with Spear & Jackson ones.Having the RIGHT tools can make the dreaded garden tasks so much easier....I have bought this Daisy Grubber and the three pronged fork, by Spear & Jackson. For me, I am finding them "unbendable". They are just SO strong, and you can see the materials used in their construction is top class. LOVE the dark copper coloured prongs and light coloured handles...they look so stylish (well, I am a lady....lol).The sheer quality and strength of Spear & Jackson tools far surpass all my old small garden tools, so I am gradually replacing all my old ones with S&J beauties.Cannot fault the robustness, design, and comfort of hold of these tools. All bought so far are such a pleasure to use, and I look forward to the less favourable garden tasks such as weeding and tidying of borders, etc., (yeah, sad, I know), using these superb tools.100 per cent recommended. I will now continue gathering my Spear & Jackson gardening tools collection and have just now ordered the Telescopic Garden Shears AND the 6 in 1 Sharpener, so I'm waiting for those to arrive.

strong and simple.

Bought a Fiskars weeder and ended up with HUGE holes after removing weeds from lawn. Gave up and found this. You wont go back!! It is BRILLIANT!! Removed loads of plantains from lawn in half the time with minimal damage to my precious lawn. Very strong but very light to work with. Pic of pile of platains removed in just 5mins. Hole made by Fiskars...could not find the holes after using this weeder. BUY IT!!

Better than a lot of tools I've had, I am comfortable putting weight on it to stand up or sit down, I've put some real force into it without deforming / breaking it, however the metal bends WAY too much. You can't lever roots out of the ground with it, which is the point, like some I've used, but it does work well going the "get a bite and twist it around a few times" method

A very useful tool

Usaba desde hace 20 años una herramienta del mismo tipo de AKI cuyo mango se me ha partido y lamentablemente no la he vuelto a encontrar en comercio físico. Por eso aunque sean caras he comprado ésta y la  Neill Tools T/A Spear Jackson 3048EL - Azada para jardinería (acero)  de la misma marca.Este tipo de herramienta es la adecuada para quitar la grama alrededor de los árboles. Penetrando en el suelo puedes seguir las raíces y extraerlas. Lo fundamental es la curvatura que hace de palanca para empujar las raíces hacia arriba, y el diseño de la punta que permite seguir las raices penetrando a la vez en la tierra.La grama volverá a salir porque siempre se nos pasa algún trozo de raíz, pero a base de insistir 2 o 3 veces acabamos erradicandola.Este modelo es más flexible que la 3048EL por lo que da sensación de que se pueda doblar si aplicas mucha fuerza en terreno seco. Sólo la recomiendo en tierra blanda o para mujeres y niños. En tierra seca mejor la 3048EL.El mango es de madera y tiene un buen detalle, que es un cordelito de piel en apariencia duradero para colgar la herramienta.También se puede utilizar con otras malas hierbas, pero es especialmente útil para raíces horizontales.
