Definitely needed to be changed
My 2017 ram has about 68000 miles and I have changed it twice. Both times it was much dirtier than I would have thought. I would suggest anyone with a vehicle that has a cabin filter to change it because it is amazing how nasty they get in a relatively short time.

Will not fit a 2015 Altima
Bought to put in a 2015 Altima, but to thick to fit in vehicle. But, will use in another vehicle
