Reliability update- Breathes new life into ageing PCs
Used to replace a SATA 2 HDD on a 5yr old Fujitsu laptop. Boot up time is about half of what it used to be and programs load much faster. Cloning from the old drive can be a pain but Mini Tool Partition Wizard (free) did the trick. Longevity and reliability of the drive still to be determined.Update: Reliability now poor. Laptop is seldom used but it frequently fails to boot . Sometimes shows as bad disk. Sometimes fails to clone from HDD with write failure. Old HDD works perfectly.

Amazing value, fast speeds compared to a hard drive ...
Amazing value, fast speeds compared to a hard drive - I am using SATA II so my speeds are bottlenecked but it is still so much faster. Games load maybe 10-30% quicker and I no longer have to deal with the massive hard drive size and noise

Fantastic
Bought after reading a positive independent review. Wow! Restart in 35 secs; 45 from cold instead of up to 180secs. Why didn't I do this sooner? Supposed to have an adapter to fit securely in a desktop bay but haven't bothered, securing it reasonably well by a combination of wedging it into the bay and attaching the power supply and data cable. Amazingly small bit of kit. Although the old Tbyte disk was in danger of failing, I've left it in place and will reformat to use as additional storage - but after 3 years have only filled 200gb, so probably won't need it.

Lasted 4 years
Used this heard drive in a Mac mini for four years. Great speed up and breathed life into old computer hardware. However, sudden and complete drive failure has occurred. No way of accessing any information on the disk.
