Calish Child Safety Magnetic Cupboard Locks No Tools Or Screws Needed (10 Locks + 2 Keys)

We purchased these a few years ago in our old kitchen, the old locks were fixed just by adhesive pads, and over time would fall off when doors were pulled open. Also, we used to stick little bits of tape to the outside of the cupboard doors to be able to locate the position of the lock when trying to use the magnets. I had ended up drilling little holes and re-fixing them with screws to make them more secure.These new locks come pre-drilled and with tiny little screws included to allow secure fitting once you have used the easy locator and adhesive to initially place the locks. They also come with a pack of tiny little clear stickers with padlock logo's on them to stick on the outside of the cupboard doors to show where the lock is located.These additions are excellent and make these locks absolutely perfect, to fit and to use. I wanted to order additional stickers for some of the old locks, and the sales team at [email protected] could not have been more helpful.Excellent product and excellent customer care.

On first opening I thought this looks complicated to fit but it's definitely not, in fact they're very simple to fit. I fitted all 10 locks in about 12 minutes. The magnets are super strong and can easily operate the lock mechanism through a 18mm thick cupboard door. I showed my daughter (mother of the child we're safe guarding) and she's also purchased the locks.I liked the way you could use the locking mechanism as a lock or, when my grandchild wasn't around I could move a switch in each lock and it disengaged the locking catch so the opening of the doors could be returned to the normal state.My only gripe was the instruction images, they could be larger but other than that... Great locks.

At first I was alittle confused but after alittle time reading and watching video they were quite easy to apply, bit fidley when you need to open them quickly due to having to use the supplied magnet. If you meet to access these areas quickly and regularly may not be the best option but they work really well and no unsightly clips

What a great bit of kit. The jigs that come with them make it so easy to fit, and the adhesive pads are holding up to our 15 month old grand-daughter's determined attempts to get the doors open!They come supplied with additional screws to provide a stronger fixings should you need it. However I have used these types of pads before and provided you allow them to cure for the recommended 24 hours as stated in the instructions, they have always done the job I wanted them to do. So I have no reason to believe these will be any different, so famous last words - none have failed so far.

Amazing lock system, easy to install and works like a treat being completely hidden. I watched the installation video couple of times before attempting to make sure I do it right, and once I got hold of it then it was very quick to install other locks. I showed them to my friend who wasn’t aware such locks exist and he was impressed, going to order for himself too.And a wonderful service from this seller nor-eu. I asked for replacement keys as I lost one and they sent out a pack (which couldn’t be sold) as replacement free of charge, which obviously has keys and few locks so really happy with the purchase and top notch service from the seller.

I fitted these due to a naughty dog getting into cupboards ,they were easy to fit and once you get "the knack" of using them are easy to use. Adhesion on wooden kitchen doors is excellent , they have stuck and stayed in position. Sad dog ,happy me !

Only issue so far is the magnet enclosure isn't of great quality to survive falls. They are very strong and stick to pots/pans/knives/forks all the time or fall on the floor or both magnets can attract and collide regularly and as a result ours have all broken in some way. They still work but would have liked to see the casing glued/sealed better to prevent them breaking open so easily.

A waste of time and money. Possibly the most frustrating thing I have ever tried to install, and I'm pretty handy. They are temperamental - install it too near anything metallic (errr......like a cupboard door handle!) and it will get stuck on open. Stick like buggery when you attempt to install and put it in the wrong place (oh, it HAS to be positioned just so) but rip off when tugged too hard. Wasted an inordinate amount of time trying to fit them, on top of the 5 hours in A&E when my toddler circumvented them and ate a dishwasher tablet. Only feel marginally more positive towards them after I lost my rag and smashed one with a hammer. May save the remaining ones to be smashed by hammer when I next need an outlet, but will be making the trek to ikea to buy the one a everyone else has.
