A nice looking hub that does the job of giving me a convenient place on my desk to plug in devices. The included self-adhesive velcro was a nice touch, keeps it firmly rooted to the desk while plugging and unplugging cables. I also found the cable to be just the right length for my needs.For some reason the USB ports are upside down, but I can't see any reason why this would ever be a problem, just as long as you remember when you're plugging things in so you aren't fumbling about trying to put it in the wrong way.I do wish the angle of the ports was slightly less steep so that the cables aren't sticking up quite so much, but this seems to be a popular design choice for these style of hubs, and it doesn't detract from the functionality.

I bough this USB hub so that I didn't have to keep plugging USB thumb drives, cameras and other items into the back of the computer to transfer data, since apple wireless keyboards have no USB plugs. It appears to work perfectly; this model has a shielded cable which should minimise interference with keyboard and mouse. I have given it 4 stars because the cable is heavier than the hub, so the hub can't lie flat on desktop. The seller supplied velcro but I don't want to stick the hub to my desk in this manner. Some weighting in the base would be a better design solution. It is styled to sit with the Apple keyboard etc but is thicker than the keyboard, so not really a neat run, although the aluminium design looks perfectly ok though not as sleek an an apple item.

Great USB hub, I'm using it with my Powermac and it works perfectly with my various devices, I have 2 WD 250gb external hdd's running through it and haven't noticed any speed issues at all. It blends in with my Mac due to the aluminium finish and my only complaint (being very picky) is that it is advertised as having a 2ft cable, I have the USB port sat on top of my computer due to the cable being probably less than 10inches at most. If it was the stated length then it would have been perfect!

Perfect when you need those extra ports for charging. Only downside is that if you want to connect a few memory sticks, it only reads one memory stick at a time, therefore I use this mostly for connecting my mouse, keyboard, camera, phone(charging), 1 USB stick(memory) and vapouriser(charging). Would highly recommend. Perfect quality. Well pleased and impressed with the product.

Nicely made and works fine. Only downside is, if the leads plugged into it are stiff it can make it fall over, if used with the soft leads like from smartphones it is fine. Easily remedied if you can stick it down in a fixed position. Be aware that it needs to be plugged into 2 USB sockets to get all 8 sockets working.

This USB hub performs perfectly and does not look out of place on a desk surrounded by apple products.Although it is not expensive it is none the less aesthetically pleasing and some effort has went into the design, along with providing its functionality.The simple addition of including double sided velcro helps with giving it a more solid semi-perm mounting, although it already has a non-slip coating on the underside.

A nicely made product that seems to work well. As it isn't powered, self-powered USB HDs won't work. Bear in mind that it won't suit every USB item, as the cable will stick out and up. It works best with lightning cables, pen drives etc. It does enable much more convenient access.

Got this on a daily deal, sure they are available much cheaper elsewhere. But it is quite a neat little thing, works well and have no complaints other than Amazon selling something as a deal when you can actually get it cheaper on Ebay and probably their own site if you take a moment to check. No gripes about the unit itself though.
