Straightforward replacement.
Bought as a straight swap for the same model of fan which was installed in the bathroom by the previous owner of our bungalow and is at the end of its useful life. Very straightforward to fit: the installer of the old fan had secured it to the tiled wall using silicon mastic rather than screws, so I did the same. If there's excessive vibration I'll fix it more securely with screws. Couple of slight disappointments: the old fan had a backdraught shutter on the spigot that fits inside the ducting, but the new one has no shutter, so there will be draughts. Also, the fan came without blanking caps for the outer casing screws, so I had to use the old ones which are slightly discoloured. Other than the above it was a recognised brand at a reasonable price, so there should be no serious issues with quality.

Easy to fit and quiet in operation
The fan in my bathroom suddenly stopped working and I needed to replace it, this was the same brand as the old one so thought a simple swap would work ok. The fan was really easy to fit, only a couple of wires to connect and fix the back plate to the wall and then screw the front cover onto the fan. Works perfectly and is really quiet when is operating. Very pleased, would buy again and recommend to anyone

works well
was a bit fiddly to fit as it was replacing a expelair 12 volt fan. bought this as you could no longer buy the just the 12 volt expelair fan on its own. but with that bit of fiddling it fitted lovely in the place of the other fan unit. I did cut the wire to fit the expeller fan rather putting the excess wire back up into the celling, learned my lesson leave extra wire as this would have made it easier to fit the manrose 12 volt fan. this was my mistake, so top if you can leave extra wire in case you have to change manufacture as expelair do not sell the 12 volt fan on its own. so far the fan is working well with no problems.

Basic - but value for money
Product bought to replace a Wickes fan which went kaput after 7 years hard labour. This feels less rugged than the fan from Wickes, but is significantly cheaper. The good news was that I was able to use existing holes in the tiling when installing as it shares the same backplate design and it worked perfectly when wired up to the existing 12 volt transformer. A little quieter than the old fan and clears steam with reasonable efficiency.
