Beats my old BBQ tongs by a country mile
My old BBQ tongs looked like they were constructed out of old wire coat hangers and gripping a sausage was not an easy task and prone to mishaps. These KitchenCraft ones are excellent. You can grip a sausage with no fear or if you want to be a little more delicate to say, flip over a flakey tuna steak, then this is no problem either. It has a simple feature to store the tongs in the closed position which is more than I can say for my old ones which needed a rubber band. Recommended for BBQ's or kitchen chefs alike.

Floppy hinge
I bought some of these a couple of years ago and they were great, really sturdy and great for bbqing big or small joints of meat.I lost them, so ordered some more, which were very slightly different but most noticeably the hinge was loose and they weren't as firm in hand. When gripping things the movement would make the tips of each arm misalign leading to the potential to drop things.I sent them back and got a refund. No idea whether I'm unlucky or they are all like this now.But i have now found the old ones and am happy again!

Easy to use and easy to clean. 👌
Nothing to dislike. Simple assembly and easy to use. Also, easy to clean. I can throw them into the sink and wash them when I feel like it. Leaving them in water doesn't discolour anything. Unlike my previous ones, the silicon used to discolour and go soft on the surface.I like the extra length enabling me to reach deep into my large microwave oven. The grip feels firm and safe. I would definitely recommend these tongs. 👌

Good Product
These tongs rank amongst the best I have ever used; not only do they close sufficiently to grip even thin items such as bacon over long-term use, they also have a clip that holds them together so they use up less space in the drawer as well as the dishwasher. The handles are comfortable to hold and it is easy to pick up food; so often I have found tongs don't close sufficiently to pick things up, particularly after they have been in use for a couple of weeks. I have been using these particular tongs for about a year and they still work as well as they did when brand new. Whilst you can get different tongs for less initial outlay, they tend to need replacement on a regular basis whereas this particular item has impressed with its continued good performance.

This is the one you need to purchase- fab!
Had been needing a grater of this kind for awhile (the box grater was useless at zesting lemons!). Initially, I kept looking at a known make by a popular TV chef, but the price not within in my budget. Then up popped this little beauty, absolutely fab and like the protective cover too. Highly recommended. 5 stars

Very Useful
These tongs seem very sturdy (bought them some time ago and they are still in perfect condition). Obviously they can be used in any situation where fingers would be best but they don't singe like fingers do (and of course they are a lot easier to clean)! You pull out the rod on the end and they spring open, which helps with storing them in the cutlery drawer (I need all the help I can get). I can see no sign at all of them failing and would recommend them to anyone as a very useful piece of kitchen equipment.I only gave them 4 out of 5 because they do seem a bit light and flimsy although I see no sign as yet of this affecting their performance.

Nice tongs but flawed design.
These tongs are easy to use and hold the food well due to the shape of the tips. The problem I have is the design that locks the arms together when the hook at the end is pulled out. This is fine when hanging them up as it prevents the arms from hanging out and using up a lot of space and, believe me, the arms open very wide indeed so great for large potatoes etc. Unfortunately, most of the time you don't need them that wide but when you hold them it's easy to inadvertently push the hooked end in thus making them open very wide and making them less user-friendly. It's a good idea in principle but some kind of sliding button on the side would have worked better as it would have been less easy to open them fully wide unintentionally.

Not bad at all.
It’s tongue, as expected. Nice longer length. Well made and easy to use. Definitely dishwasher safe! I did find the spring-action a bit lacking. I personally would have liked a bit more off an “pushback”. It feels like it’s “lazy” to open. Making it slightly difficult to use.
