bad design. No my mistake!
The visor is neither fish nor fowl. Too short to fasten on the outside then drilled holes are in the wrong place for fastening on the inside.Oregon responded to my complaint with a picture of how to fit it. It works perfectly now. Many other buyers had a similar complaint so a fitting diagram is obviously needed! It fits on the outside and flips up. Easiest way to build it is to connect to the inner most holes with the visor in the up positon.

it'll do
Seems to be a lot of confusion over this in the reviews. This can take 2 different kind of screens, a fixed one like in the picture and a flip up one like i received. The flip up screen fits around the outside with the head piece the correct way up, there is a ridge around the head piece that stops the screen going too low. On the screen there is a blue layer and a clear layer that needs peeling off, the "like looking through frosted glass" means you haven't peeled the clear layer off. It looses a star because the screws are a bit rubbish and need holding on the inside to tighten up........ but then it was pretty cheep

The shield is very flimsy
Not suitable for using with lathes or chainsaws. Screen is flimsy plastic

So cheap you would be a fool not to protect yourself with this face screen
Cheap and great quality.. protect your face and eyes with this, don't risk it, your face and eyesight are worth a lot more than the cost of this kit...

Truly awful and you will need a drill.
Obviously thrown together from whatever the manufacturer could get their hands on rather than a designed complete item. Locator holes in visor do not line up with those in the headband, so you have to drill it to fit. The bolts that must be removed to fit the visor are behind the foam band on the inside of the headband, so you have to peel it back. The bolt is too long for the twist on nut or the nut has been made badly as the bolt cannot pass through to allow it to tighten - get your drill out again. Finally the twist on nut is too wide and catches on a ridge on the headband. Photos show after drilling. The worrying thing is, if the manufacturer can be this incompetent, do you trust the protection it is supposed to offer. Unfortunately bought over 30 days ago, so can't go back without speaking to 6 different people before they accept it is a warranty claim not a 30 day no questions asked return - so as can be seen drilled it and fingers crossed.EDIT - having had another look at this, it appears that without changing the photo on the box or on sales listings, Oregon have changed how it is put together. Headband is obviously designed for original version, but looks like they saw an opportunity to reduce the number of visors they had to make by 'robbing' one designed for a different model and making this hybrid model, no wonder people are confused. So you are left with either drill it and fit the visor in to the designed slot inside the headband or fit on outside of the headband in the cobbled together option. Makes you wonder which one passed the British Standard test.

Decent value
It does the job ; very light which is not as good as it sounds -- it moves easily and does not sit snugly and firmly on the head

EFFICACE
