Hidom 2200l/h Aquarium Internal Filter Submersible Pump AP-3000H

It was a bit big for my tank, 100% my fault when I say a bit big, my fish got caught in a vortex and were swimming backwords. I've since bought the smaller version of the same pump.My points on this pump which I've kept anyway is that it's super powerful and great value for money. Love the oxogen capsules it comes with, very useful.If you want a powerful reasonably silent pump this is it :)

So I first bought this filter around may 2019, and was over the moon with it. It was powerful, quiet, easy to clean and didn't backwash into my tank. It was also cheaper compared to other filters of this power, and really well designed.Fast forward to Jan 2020, and I have subsequently bought 2 more of these filters for other tanks. These were NOT the same quality at all! They are not nearly as powerful by even half! Even so that water is only being able to be pushed out of 1 of the 2 outlets! Also, on one of these new ones I bought, the plug was not correctly assembled. The screws were loose, and the white plastic bit meant to hold the wire in place was underneath the wire, which is really dangerous!This product is absolutely NOT the same quality as the one I had originally bought, and the quality control must be nonexistent!Don't waste your money on something that is lazily put together and not the power outage it is said to have!

A good filter for the money no doubt, i got two, I didn't expect them to last very long, they're still going three months later for one of them and five months for the other. The impeller shaft does rattle every now and again so I am replacing them both one by one. Can't complain for the money though! Powerful flow. Even with my own filter media packed in tightly.

The plug on the one that arrived was dodgy,there was a screw missing,the wires were lose and the white strip wasn't even above the wire,we only found this issue as the pump wasn't working right,so please check the plugs,as could cause a fire

Suckers are a nightmare they keep popping off the glass on the aquarium. Good value for money as it is a high power pump but it doesnt sit flush against the glass so the suckers really need to be improved to hold it. It has fallen to bits in my tank twice now mechanism to keep filter part attached to pump part isnt very secure.
