Easy to set up and use
This is a replacement for my old bean to cup machine (which is still working well after five plus years but I wanted a new one because we were fitting a new kitchen) easy to use and maintain. This machine simply has a button to push for steam as opposed to a knob to turn . Makes great coffee and steams milk for lattes etc . Two preset coffees , espresso and lungo. You can adjust the amount of coffee and strength for each and save the setting . So easy to use and maintain, the puck bin holds a decent amount of used grounds before needing emptied out and the water tank is a good size meaning you aren’t refilling it every five minutes. It’s also slimmer than my old machine so looks much neater on the worktop. Very pleased , just hope it lasts as long as my old model .

Excellent coffee in a dinky machine
This is a nice looking machine and the coffee is excellent. Much better than my nespresso and older Delonghi Eletta. I drink black coffee and love it, my wife drinks white and loves the automated latte. Highly recommend

Good Coffee, Hard Work
No doubt this Gaggia coffee machine makes good coffee, but maintenance is hard work. After 8 to 10 coffees it has to be emptied (and it won't make any more until you do). If you regularly use it 2 or 3 times a day it will have to be thoroughly cleaned every 2 or 3 weeks. The refill of beans and/or water and "empty the grounds" requests all occur independently. Every now and again it demands the descaling process, and you cannot do anything else until you do - this can take you 30 minutes and if you are in the middle of make coffee for several people, some of them will just have to wait. The water refill flap won't stay open without being held so that refilling can be a bit tricky sometimes. This machines redeeming feature is the quality of the coffee produced which, once you have mastered the setup menus, is consistent and can be set to satisfy most requirements. The idea of beans to fresh coffee is excellent, but ergonomically needs some attention.

A good idea, but......
Loved the taste of the coffee, hated cleaning it because the whole kitchen got messy. Grinder pack up after 18 months of light use. Gaggia website is a nightmare to navigate for customer services.

Not the flavor you want
My husband bought this machine and it is a big investment. We are very very much regretting not returning it when we could. The coffee taste is very watery and undrinkable we tried everything but most of the time the taste is bad. The customer service in UK were so helpful and even sent us some beans to try. This machine is not what we want and we are now stuck with it. We do not even use it anymore. Very sad about this purchase.
