PetTouchID Smart Pet ID Tag, QR Code, NFC, GPS Location (Black)

I hope more and more people will get to know about these devices as it is very useful. The GPS reading isn't that accurate but you get an email instantly to say the pet may be lost which is great. Most useful thing is that we go away for long periods and you can change the info on the website. Trying to get a disc changed each time would be annoying. We have a disc as well for home and for people who don't have smart phones or who wouldn't work out what to do. Reckon we should spread the word about it.

This product is useless. The locator service fails to send a notification to the owner or the message arrives 24 hours after the tag is scanned. No response from the support phone or email.

A bit bigger than I thought it would be but then I have a dinky cat so on a normal sized cat (if there is such a thing ! ) it should not be a problem. Easy to set up on line with cats details. If she should lose it and I can't retrieve it would def buy another one. Thankfully she's not much of an out door cat.

Nice quality, but bigger than expected. I know the size is stated, but hard to get feel for what 30mm is until actually hang off a collar. Registration is easy & the scanning works well.

Let's be absolutely clear here, this is not a GPS device. That is not why I bought it but, from other reviews, it seems other people have. The product details are quite clear IMO. (GPS tracking is much more expensive.)This is a simple NFC-enabled tag that hangs from a dog's collar. You either scan the NFC tag, or scan the QR code and it brings up a website showing contact details for your dog's owners. If you're worried about privacy you have full control over how much information to show. When scanned it also notifies the owner by email that someone has scanned it. I tested it out today by scanning it at home. The email I received stated the _approximate_ location was my next door neighbour's address. Which is pretty darned good!The quality of the tag is very nice. It feels solidly made, like it will last, it looks really smart - not at all cheap or nasty. I hope we never need it for real but it is a significant amount of reassurance for a very small price. The fact that someone can scan this tag (assuming they look at it closely enough) with a regular smartphone makes it a very useful addition to the microchip. Not to mention far easier to scan!

Great product, such a good idea and a peace of mind when you have wandering dogs! I got one for each of my 2 dogs; after a trip in the woods, one of my dogs came back with only the ring attached to his collar, the ID broke and was lost; I sent an email to the company who straight away replaced it for me; no problems since.If you scan the tag, it not only gives your phone number and details about the dogs but when you get the email notification, you can see exactly where your dogs are which is really practical when you live out in the sticks!

Waay too big for kittens they will eventually get big enough to use it. I would not advise getting this item if you believe your cat/kitten is very small as it is around the size of a 50p piece and as heavy as 3 of 50p taped together. I got this for my kitten and going to have to wait until she grows up a bit for her to wear it.Handy Tag - would be even more awesome if there was a tracker key inside the medallion but understand this would make it even more heavier! Does the job, looks good, and easy to use,

This is a great idea for a product. However the security certificate for the site had expired thus making this item entirely useless. I'm returning them.
