If the Caterpillar boots are leather, You should have no problems useing Kiwi Polish upon them.

Hiya would this work on my hi tec leather ravine pro women's hiking boots?

It will work on any leather shoes but may not give the desired gloss n shine on an oily leather like the leather ravine ones.

Is it an orange tan color please

On my boots the polish is a brown/tan colour although around the eyelets it has a slight reddish discolouration.
