My scalp gets a little dandruff from time to time. This shampoo works just the same as the name brand stuff. It cleanses my hair and helps heal my scalp. It has a little lemony/medicinal scent nothing impressive or negative about it.

Works as advertised

This shampoo has the same 1% pyrithione zinc as the name brand dandruff shampoo. I got this for my dandruff because it’s pretty bad if I don’t keep up on it. It works well and took about 2 weeks to be dandruff free. I did have to leave it on for about 5-10 mins then rinse off but all dandruff shampoo if like that. The smell is ok. It smells all the other name brand ones. It is not too strong.

My hubby and I have severe dandruff problems. We tried many brands before like regular anti dandruff H&S, Pantene, T-gel etc, all didn't work for us, even worse. Finally we tried the H&S clinical strength dandruff shampoo series last year that eventually solved the problems. Now I am happy to find this True+Real Classic Anti Dandruff Shampoo as there is one more option for us to use, no need to stick to only one brand. Although its color and smell are similar with the regular H&S, I can tell the formula must be different since my dandruff were gone after first time use and didn't feel itchy or greasy within 3 days. The other brands we used before simply did not work for us to get rid of the dandruff and itching even though we washed hair every day. This one works just like the H&S clinical one. The price is also decent and affordable. I highly recommend it as it's worth a try especially if you have the same dandruff issues like us.

This is very similar to the name brand but I think the bottle may be a bit larger than name brand. But the purchase price is higher than I found it locally too. I expect offbrand to be a bit cheaper so I dropped a star.I haven't been using the H&S brand recently so I don't know that it is an exact copy but the active ingredient is the same so I expect the shampoo to have similar results. I think there are some shampoos that work better with my dandruff than this ingredient but this should work better than regular shampoos.I find that shampooing daily is the main thing I have to do to keep flakes at bay.After using this for a couple of days, I feel like the result will be the same as using H&S daily. It will take a bit longer for me to see full results. If the price were a bit more competitive, I'd give this 5 stars but I don't see much reason to purchase this over the name brand.

This review is for True+Real Classic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo. This shampoo truly works to eliminate stubborn dandruff. I use this a few times per week, making sure to let it sit on my scalp for at least a few minutes before rinsing to let said ingredients do their thing. This shampoo soothes the scalp and is extremely effective at getting rid of those pesky flakes.Given the effectiveness of this shampoo along with very fair pricing. I would consider this a great purchase and recommend True+Real Classic Anti-Dandruff Shampoo.

Works good on hair but if you get it in your eyes you will be sorry. When it got in my eyes the burning was so intense I had to flush my eyes for several minutes to stop the pain .
