As light as a Bali mountain breeze and as comforting as coming home.
Bamboo tea is becoming more popular. It’s unusual for a ‘herbal’ tea because it contains some goodies other teas don’t - silica and soluble fibre. I don’t know whether it really does help maintain hair and nails, and help the digestive system as claimed in the press, but I know that it tastes light refreshing and almost sweet.Wise Owl pair their bamboo with nettle. Interesting! I find nettle tea really soothing – on holiday I get my children to collect it from the woods (with gloves of course). The fresh stuff is best, but if you want to be sure it hasn’t been the favourite spot for the local dog/fox/cat then buy it from an organic supplier. The nettle provides the comforting base – which will become very familiar once you start drinking it – a great platform for the lightness of the bamboo. And I think they’ve got the balance and blend right - the bamboo deserves its showcase. If you’ve bored with camomile, and you don’t like the bitter taste of green tea (and the caffeine) try nettle and bamboo. Be prepared for a much subtler flavour – you need to respect these teas and try them several times. We are used to being fed mass produced strong ‘herbal teas’ but there are treasures to be found in the subtler blends. What I love about WiseOwl teas is their imaginative pairing. Bit expensive, but it really feels as though they want to share with you their passion for unusual or subtle blends. Like TeaPigs – they both use silky pyramid bags and have lovely packaging – but you feel that Wise Owl- with the travel theme – is a bit more adventurous and goes that bit further to find something exotic.

Awesome Tea!
Amazing Tea!! I absolutely love this tea, it has a great taste and the bags are filled very well. I drink it with honey or without and enjoy it both hot or as an iced tea on hot days. The tea has a slightly earthy taste but is not bitter at all.The pyramid bags help make the brewing so nice and they are robust enough not to break but soft enough that all the goodness comes out. This is a repeat purchase I have bought this tea many times, I first brought it in 2014 when I started my healthy hair journey after researching that bamboo teas is great for hair growth and health. It was quite difficult to find bamboo tea here in the UK, every shop I tried didn't have any and many shop owners and workers gave me strange looks when I asked if they sold it. I was so happy to find this tea on Amazon and I have purchased ever since. Although the price was less back then, I still feel the quality of the tea, and the fact that it is organic warrants the current price, the quality is impeccable.I have recommended this tea to many and included as part of a 90 day hair growth challenge.I will repurchase very soon as my tub will soon be finished.

Not strong enough.
I heard about the benefit of Bamboo tea and was frilled when I found this tea.I have had it twice so far. Even though it taste good, I found the brew too weak for me using just 1/2 cup of hot water. Next time I will brew with 2 teabag until the box finish. Then I would have to review whether to purchase again.

A must drink for sistas with 4c hair
I have been drinking this tea for about two years and wouldn't be without it. I drink two bags a day. Not only does it make my 4c Afro hair grow but it works wonders for the pain in my right hand and arm (due to breaking my little finger).
