Unique piece of furniture.
Bought this for the lounge in my new house. Was initially looking for a shelf unit to put a lamp on - then found this product. The product comes flatpacked and is fairly straight forward to put together. The built quality is good, however it can feel a little ‘cheap’. To look at however, it looks great. It’s not something you see every day so it’s a big talking point when others see the room. The shelves are as described, however they are fairly small - you’re probably looking for things that are tall rather than long or wide to go on them (eg. I have an amazon echo on one). The only downside I would say is the cable coming from the light. I’d like me, you like cables tucked away, you’ll need to use to sellotape to attach it down the back of the shelf - not as issue and it can be hidden well, but would maybe benefit from some clips. Overall a good piece. Good value for money. Would buy another one for another room.

Test light before assembly
My husband started to put it together but found that one of the screws was just spinning and not holding parts together so thought he'd just glue it in, which worked. But after assembling it and switching it on, it went bang and bloo the plug and house fuse and bulb, thinking it was the bulb we went and bought a new one and some new plug fuses. It went bang again and once again bloody the bulb and plug and house fuse. We decided to return but wasn't able to as we had glued it together. So after buying a new wiring set we put it in and finally we have a lamp. The additional cost for the wiring set, fuses and bulbs has made this lamp more expensive as it cost us nearly £20 to fix. So my warning to others is check that the lamp part works before assembling it. Now it's all working it looks nice, but in all honesty it wasn't worth the hassle so I'm really disappointed with it.

Excellent lamp
It is as described and extremely good value of the money. Easy to put together.it weights enough to be stable but not to heavy to move. It give good amount of brightness. I went for the white to match other furniture in the room
