This was my first time trying a product like this, I was quite surprised at the results. It’s definitely a waiting game with the product so don’t expect overnight results (the product information does say this).A month following the application to a heavy clay soil bed, I could tell the difference in the soil texture and workability. The soil was more crumbly to the touch and did help break up more compacted top parts of the soil. I would probably recommend working in some manure/organic matter after the use of this product to help keep the consistency of the soil.Overall.. it works, so not much to complain about.

Product OK, and delivered quickly, but box was leaking at bottom and was covered in dust. Not sure if a damaged box was dispatched or there was rough handling hy Evri,

... they now get one star for refusing to submit my review. I lost at least a quarter of the product through bad packaging, the box had a hole and the bag it was in had a hole.

Used this once in my garden to break up clay and improve drainage seemed to work ok so purchased another box for another area.

Essential if you have clay soil. We had some landscaping work done in our garden and a small digger compacted the turf area, so much so I had to lay a new turf myself. This helped to break up some of the soil, even in the sub-tropical and dry summer we’ve had. I’ve since used it on flower beds with compost and in a matter of 3 weeks the soil is crumbly and friable. I intend to use it this winter on flower beds as frost is said to give it the best results (although for me, so far, the results have been awesome). Overall, would definitely recommend. The only point I would flag is it is just as cheap (and sometimes cheaper) in garden centres and DIY stores, so perhaps shop around.
